Although I would see this game as a platform to test the new mechanics later implemented in Men of War: Cold War, and likely implemented into Men of War 2 it is a good game. Although it would be nice if the AI would understand tactical objectives and use cover, not just seeing the objectives and rarely if ever using cover, it is a good enough game. Along with the similar yet different taste of battles compared to Men of War: Assault Squad 2, the Campaigns, specifically the GRM Campaign, are incredibly interesting with the aforementioned GRM Campaign using some interesting if buggy mechanics. Overall I say it is a worthwhile game, far more than "Men of War: Assault Squad 2 but in the modern day"
