It starts really promising and keeps getting better until about half-way into the game. The idea of the game is really good and for about 2 hours it works out great... and then the game just becomes utterly boring and tedious. The game is too short, parodies its originals badly and has absolutely no replay value at all.

With a play time of 5-7 hours (which will include a fair amount of grinding) it's not worth 10$. If you have a chance to get it for cheap you might want to have a look for the gimmick that it offers, but it wears off quick and the 'leftovers' of this 'game' won't keep you entertained.

Is it Guitar Hero? No. Is it fun to play? Oh yes.

There a number of good things about the game: You can play your own tracks... literally ;) There's quite a few different gamemodes that actually play different. The difficulty ranges from laid back to really hectic. You can actually 'see' and feel the song while playing the track.

Are there downsides? Not really, except if you don't like reaction games. Ten bucks might be a bit much for the game, but in a sale (especially in one for a dollar) I won't hesitate to grab it :)

Despite the tedious combat, this is a really good RPG game. It's somewhat short and quite linear, but there's enough interesting content in it to keep you busy for at least 20 hours. While a lot of the features are a tad superfluous. there is a good story, plenty of quests and a lot of interesting places to visit. The moral choices you have to make really add to the game. The only downside of the game is that the (melee) combat is just a lot of clicking. The training about blocking that you receive early in the game is rendered completely useless because you're (almost) always attacked by more than one enemy. Still it only lengthens the battles and doesn't really make them harder.

Recommended for 10$ and a no-brainer for anybody who likes RPGs when it's on sale.

The first two acts are fun to play and the setting, music and graphics are really great, but the game is (in my opinion) badly balanced. Starting with the third act the game gets harder and gaining levels takes far too long. The items that drop don't make up for it either. About half way through the third act I ran into the 'dead end' for me. A new enemy type appears that I can barely fight 1-on-1 and once three of them are around I'm dead within 5 seconds. The difficulty curve is far from being optimal and it can be quite frustrating if you get stuck in the middle of the third act. Also most of the interesting side quests from the first two acts are absent.

If you're an experienced Diablo player this one is certainly worth a play, but if you consider yourself a more casual action RPG player, I'd recommend to play Torchlight instead.

It is a very nice remake of Shufflepuck Cafe :) It requires a huge amount of grinding, but it does it in a quite rewarding way. Learning the patterns of your opponents is actually fun! You have a lot of things to do off the table and it doesn't get boring if you like shufflepuck. This game is for people that liked the original game and/or like shufflepuck for what it is. The biographies are nice to read, but they won't make up for a decent story driven game. Play the game for what it is and you get a lot of very good gameplay :) It's even addictive once you get into it ;)

Recommended for everybody that likes shufflepuck and/or loved the game Shufflepuck Cafe! At a sale price of 2.50 $ I'd recommend it to everyone that likes a mildly challenging sport game with a lot of 'side-tracked' activities :)

This game is amazing... especially the online and local co-op puts it on a very high spot of my ranking list. That is before even considering the amazing gameplay, beautiful graphics and great music. A lot of details can be found on every screen of the game and the game really benefits from playing it with three players. This mix of platform, beat 'em up and puzzle elements just provides a lot of unique gaming moments and is highly recommended. A must-have for anyone that likes fantasy or any of the aforementioned genres :)

It's not a good RPG, but it's not a total catastrophe either... The item and level grinding is boring, it lacks in story and especially in side quests and the level 'design' is pretty much non-existant. Most of the game looks more random than Diablo while it isn't. While the game isn't a complete waste of time and has some moments, the lack of speech for the few NPCs, the mindnumbing and pointless arena fights and a lot of other small details make the game very dull and sometimes tedious to play. There's just so many better Diablo clones around and this one is hardly worth anybody's time. The final battle is a joke compared to the other boss fights. So many design flaws in one game that it's almost a candidate for a rotten tomato award... Unless you're extremely bored and have nothing better to play, stay away from this game.

A point and click adventure with completely hand drawn graphics, decent voice acting, an interesting setting and logical puzzles... that's what you'll get :) Even the narrative perspective is refreshing. If you like classic adventures this one is for you.

I have mixed feeling about this game... The start is really great and there are cool puzzles throughout the game, but quite a few screens just feel 'forced' and are filed with cheap puzzles that might even annoy you. For under a Dollar/Euro I'd give it a try, but I won't spend more, as it's too short and simply too random. It should be 'puzzler' as the genre. There's very little that might count as actual adventure elements.

It's Qix... with a mission :D Just a fun little game that adds a great twist to a very old game principle :)
