This game is really cute and hit me in the feels it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ adorable and wonderful, pretty short but a really really wonderful time throughout. one of the best games i've played in years unironically

Four whole years already? Time sure flies! Glad to be a founder, glad to continue supporting this awesome game.

Also, this bear is freaking adorable. S-tier breed, no bias. :p

I will continue to support this dev team unless something catastrophic happens, cute game with good playerbase, it's been wonderful to see it grow out of the 2019-era lobbies that were like 15 real players and 45 bots ahaha

The Jackbox Party Pack 9 is probably my favorite Jackbox Party Pack yet. Really. I never thought I'd say that after how solid 7 was, but this one has solidly trounced it as probably the best party pack to date - every single game in this pack is a banger.

Quixort is a really funny trivia game, the questions are really interesting in a way that appeals to even the least keen on trivia in our group. It's a lot better than I was expecting, and I had high expectations going in so that's a really pleasant surprise. A question even mentioned something as recent as DALL-E, which went viral just a few months ago - really impressive how on-the-pulse the jackbox team was here.

Fibbage 4 is the best fibbage yet, Enough About You is lacking the final round from Fibbage 3 but its inclusion at all was a welcome surprise. Questions are up-to-date and fun as ever, so if you've enjoyed older fibbages this one is an easy sell.


Roomerang ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rules. It kind of plays like monster seeking monster - you're going to want to roleplay the same way that you would have wanted to for that game - but in a completely different environment. The reality tv show setting makes for a really funny game that's incredibly engaging, funny throughout and doesn't overstay its welcome.

Junktopia takes the best parts of Bidiots and Patently Stupid and mashes them together, to great effect. Not being held back by the voting tokens of Patently Stupid (in part due to the voting being done in two sets of two) makes Junktopia an incredibly solid experience, significantly better than other, older and comparable games. I wish the final round was more impactful, but that's probably my only criticism.

Nonsensory was also incredibly funny! It depends on the way you and your groups interpret prompts (some people will read "90% biker, 10% accountant" wildly differently than you will), but that's part of the fun of it. It holds up incredibly well.

All in all, this is probably the best pack they've released to date. Absolutely stunning, the first one in the whole collection to have a shot at trouncing my 45 hours in Party Pack 7. Phenomenal!

Party Pack 8 demonstrates that the Jackbox team only gets better and better each and every year. Just like the pack preceding it, Party Pack 8 is chock-full of substantial and entertaining games, each one pretty considerably wonderful.

Job Job is one of the best games that has ever been released in a Party Pack. One of the few that my group has been able to consistently return to night after night, play for literal hours at a time, and continue to want to play. The highlight of this pack, far and away. Make sure you fill your icebreakers near the character limit; the game is much more fun with more words to work with!

I really enjoyed Poll Mine personally; it's like a much more personal take on Guesspionage (one of my personal favorites from Party Pack 3). The group is surveyed in various categories, and you need to guess what aggregate ranking certain choices got in the whole group; depending on the friends you play with, this can be an absolute treat.

Drawful: Animate is more of the same from the Drawful series, but that's never a bad thing; given drawful was going on half-a-decade without a new iteration (!!!) it was a welcome return of a series classic. The animation gimmick is lovely and the prompts are updated to be even more closer-to-the-pulse-of-modern-internet-slang, so sometimes we've been fooled by prompts being close enough to things my friends actually say that it was indistinguishable from someone aiming to get the likes award. Really fun, as drawful tends to be!

Weapons Drawn is a heavy time investment, but absolutely warrants the time spent by providing pretty hilarious gameplay. Some people get really creative with hiding their weapons! It's impressive how many ways you can hide a cursive "t". Sort of a better take on Push the Button, and I'm a big fan of it for being a better deductive reasoning game (though PtB has its upsides, too.)

The Wheel of Enormous Proportions is... well, my group isn't a fan. It seems like it's trying to be Trivia Murder Party (zany trivia with consequences for getting questions wrong, but getting a question wrong isn't the end of the game), but while the killing floors in TMP are interactive and interesting, the wheel spins really leave the fate of this game up to RNG - this makes it unrewarding to be good at the trivia (bad rng can equalize the playing field to an unreasonable degree) while also being boring to those not skillful at trivia (sure, you're not out of the game, but hoping on wheel spins to get back into the game is about as interesting as if every death in TMP was decided by the loser wheel. Yawn!) Ultimately, probably the lowest point of the pack - not a terrible game, just not Jackbox's greatest trivia showing.

Ultimately, Party Pack 8 is one of my personal favorites in the storied series of party packs - a high recommendation from me!

Dude honestly I don't give a flying ♥♥♥♥ how "dead" or "alive" this game is, or will ever be. In the past decade of my life, nothing has ever managed to bring my friends together for a game night of rageless, casual fun than Team Fortress 2. This game transcends genre, transcends purpose, transcends the medium of video games in and of themselves to provide probably the most consistent and perpetual cultural landmark gaming has had since the likes of Mario himself.

In other words, video game good. If you have enough friends, buy your own community server. It's a good investment, trust me.
