This is the first time that a party pack was just five straight-up bangers of games. It's excellent.

Quiplash 3 is the standard Quiplash... you really, really cannot go wrong with Quiplash. The Thrip-lash in round 3 is a lot better than getting the same comic lashes over and over in Quiplash 2, so that's a plus.

Devils in the Details has drawn comparisons to WarioWare from most of the groups I've played it with. It's certainly unique... incomparable to other preexisting Jackbox Games, at the very least. It's hectic and fun; expect a lot of talking over one another.

Champ'd Up is, for me, Tee KO but better. Because there's no successive gauntlet, your drawings don't end up getting stale; having your big hit round-one drawing come back just once in the tag teams gives a lot more impact than seeing the same shirt five rounds in a row. Also, playing with 'same players' lets you swap in drawings from the previous round, which is a really sick touch. My only complaint is the latency issues; every time I've played Champ'd Up, at least one player's device struggled to load the voting in a timely manner. I'm sure it'll be patched sooner than later, however.

Talking Points is the pinnacle of this pack, and it is a high-soaring one at that. Think of it like Patently Stupid, but with less work on the individual. Patently Stupid requires you to draw, write a title, pick out a slogan, and only then after seven minutes of work do you finally get to present your invention. In Talking Points, you simply provide three titles to the room, choose one of the three you're given, and you're off to the races. If your favorite part of Patently Stupid was presenting your invention, this'll come naturally; it'll also be hilarious.

Blather Round is simple; it's like written Charades. You have to describe a topic [which can be anything from something as simple as Minions to something as nonspecific as Creme Brulee] to the room through using text prompts. These prompts are designed to be as vague as possible; I've seen things as pop-culture reliant as Rick and Morty be described as "a show about a not good evil humor guy" and "wow, familial much?" If you have the right group, this one can be an absolute banger of a game.

I reiterate the point I made after my first session of Jackbox 7; This is the first party pack where, with every group I've played with, every single game is a hit.

Beat the whole game in 12 hours but was definitely a fun experience and I will probably replay it some day

Buy Don't Starve Together unless you specifically want to play Shipwrecked or Hamlet. Don't Starve Together, when played alone, offers the gameplay of Don't Starve with Reign of Giants, as well as a good deal of exclusive content and, well... multiplayer. The standalone Don't Starve experience has not changed and said standalone experience is still as good as ever, but $15 for Don't Starve together is far better than $15 for Don't Starve and Reign of Giants.

fun game. pretty challenging. makes transphobes grumpy. win/win/win.

Party Pack 4 is one of the quintessential Jackbox Party Packs; that is, itself and Jackbox Party Pack 3. These two can serve you well as a duology of absolutely solid party games; here's why Party Pack 4 deserves such a distinction.

Monster Seeking Monster is a great game. Word to the wise, however; it may be smart to use fake names while playing. It can make things less awkward; you'll have a lot less trouble flirting with 'Super Mario' than your co-worker Dave from accounting.

Survive the Internet has become a classic. It'll become "slur funnie" if you play it with a group prone to making games like Quiplash a contest of 'who can say the n word more', though; be careful.

Bracketeering never did much for me. It's a fun game, but you need at least a room of 8 to make it work. Keep that in mind.

Civic Doodle is a mixed bag to many; however, to me, it's one of my favorite jackbox drawing games. Rating the drawings with emojis is a nice touch, and the final round is fun... unless your group decides the best way to end the game is to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ erase everything lmao

Fibbage 3 is the standard fibbage; it was fun the first two times, and it is fun here, too. Enough about You is even better, in my opinion. Great for established groups.

GOTY 2018

It doesn't run particularly well on my hardware and never really has, but I've derived at least 600 hours of fun from this game across Steam and Origin. Get it when it's on sale though, buying the base game and three expansion packs (personally, I recommend Pets, University and Seasons) for the same price as the base-game without sales is a steal.

It would seem outlandish to call this game 'perfection of the medium', but it sure as hell felt like it to me, personally.

This game is a masterpiece; I personally believe it to be one of the best games I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing.

If you don't experience this game, you're doing yourself a disservice. This game is worth it's price, and infinitely more so.

I forgot I had ever ran the steam version, checked dates and realized that I had reinstalled it after exactly a year since I had last played it. Long story short, I had about 250 million angels to kickstart my way back into the game.

The farthest I ever got in ADOM was as a gnomish wizard. She was more than strong enough to end the game... but I had went to the Tomb of the High Kings and had my climbing set melted away.

This game is random, unrelenting and unforgiving. I love it.

This game is eight years older than me, and is still being updated constantly... that speaks volumes about the dedication the creator has.

The resurrection campaign's success a few years ago spoke immeasuably about the amazing community the game has developed.

Although ADOM might not be everyone's cup of tea, it's still a fantastic piece of art... and a spectacular game, to boot.
