4 Jahre nach Release von Hunt Showdown muss ich meine ursprünglich negative Review zu Hunt in eine positive umändern.

Aber was ist Hunt denn jetzt genau?

Hunt: Showdown ist ein Online-Horror-Shooter mit Survival-Elementen. Dabei werden PvE- und PvP-Kämpfe kombiniert. Mehrere Teams aus jeweils zwei Jägern betreten die Map auf der Suche nach einem oder mehreren Dämonen. Als Belohnung winkt ein Kopfgeld (Bounty) in Form von neuer Ausrüstung und Skills. Zunächst muss das Monster aber aufgespürt werden – was kleinere Gegner auf der Karte wie Zombies oder Höllenhunde erschweren. Zudem konkurrieren die anderen Teams ebenfalls um die Beute. Ist der Bossgegner ausgemacht, müssen die Jäger ihn töten und seine Seele verbannen, um an ihr Loot zu gelangen. Das alarmiert aber auch die anderen Jäger-Teams. Durch das Permadeath-System kann jeder Kampf gegen NPCs oder andere Jäger den Verlust sämtlicher Waffen und Fähigkeiten bedeuten.Und genau das ist was Hunt so unglaublich spannend macht! Aber keineswegs auf eine frustrierende Art und Weise. Aber die ständige Angst und Spannung, die Klangkulisse und das dazu passende Gunplay machen Hunt zu einem sehr anspruchsvollen und großartigen Shooter.

Für welche Art Spieler ist Hunt?

Solo, Dou oder Trio Spieler kommen hier auf ihre Kosten. Ja auch als Solo Spieler kann man mit Hunt ordentlich Spaß haben, allerdings sei gesagt das es keine Solo Lobbys gibt, sondern einzig und allein Dou und Trio die ihr aber als Solo bestreiten könnt.

Für wen eignet sich also Hunt?

Hunt eignet sich keinesfalls für Call of Duty Enthusiasten. Hier ist Vernunft, Geschicklichkeit Taktik und Stealth angesagt um euren Hunter nicht zu verlieren, ihn höher zu leveln und neue Fertigkeiten freizuschalten.

Pay2Win? Unfair? Zusatzinhalte?

• Hunt hat keinerlei Pay2Win Inhalte.

• Der einzige Vorteil gegenüber Spielern mit hoher Spielzeit ist das diese mehr vertraut mit dem Spiel sind. Selbst Spieler mit einem Hunter auf maximalem level (50) sterben mit einem Schuss in den Kopf, es ist also durchaus möglich, auch als Newbie hier Kills oder ein Bounty zu erlangen. Die Kämpfe wirken nie unfair.

• Zusatzinhalte gibt es in Form von DLC's diese schalten Legendäre Jäger frei, die aber nur rein kosmetischer Natur sind und im Gegensatz zu den Standard zufallsgenerierten Jägern ohne Ausrüstung kommen, allerdings immer wieder gekauft werden können (dann durch ingame Währung). Waffen sind ebenso nur kosmetischer Natur. Die Zusatzinhalte bieten somit auch keinen spürbaren Vorteil.


Gibt es Kritikpunkte?
Das einzige an dem ganzen ist meiner Meinung nach aktuell nur die etwas verwaschene und alt gewordene Grafik, und die leider immer noch seit Release schlechte Perfomance / Optimierung des Spiels. Hier könnte Crytek wirklich mal noch nachbessern!

Ich kann das Spiel wirklich jedem weiter empfehlen den die Kombination aus Horror und Shooter und "Raid" nicht abschreckt.

In 2024 soll dann endlich das Engine Update erfolgen, und bisherige Schwächen ausgebessert werden. Ich freu mich auf die Zukunft dieses einzigartigen Shooters, und bin gespannt, was noch kommt.

Whoa..! Squad ist ein militärischer first Person Shooter der viel Wert auf Realismus legt. Hier ist es nicht ein einzelner wie in anderen Schootern der den Win entscheidet, hier kommt es wirklich auf Teamarbeit an! Und wenn ich von Teamarbeit rede meine ich das auch so! Ihr joint einem Server und tretet einem Squad bei, dabei sollte man auf den Namen des Squads achten da dieser meist Informationen enthält wie zb "GER, Mic only". Seit ihr dann einem Squad beigetreten geht es auch schon los. Nun steht ihr unter dem Befehl des Squad leaders. Dieser gibt euch Anweisungen, kümmert sich um den Aufbau von FOB's und Rallye Points, Versorgung mit Munition etc. Ihr solltet also immer auf euren Squad lead hören, denn einfach mal klassisch wie in anderen Spielen, stur alleine in eine Richtung vor pushen ist nicht, entfernt ihr euch von eurem Squad endet dies meist in einem bitterlichen Tod, und kostet eurem Team Tickets. Ja genau Tickets! So funktioniert nämlich das System des Modus AAS. Ihr erobert zusammen mit 8 anderen Squads mehrere Stützpunkte und müsst diese Verteidigen und/oder angreifen. Jedes Team startet mit einer bestimmten Anzahl an Tickets, sind diese verbraucht verliert das Team.

Fazit?
Die täuschend echte Kriegssimulation fühlt sich einfach nur gut an! Die Community ist klein aber einer der besten die ich je kennenlernen durfte! Die Kombination aus realistischen Kriegsszenarien und Teamarbeit machen dieses Spiel zu einem Erlebnis das ich nie wieder missen möchte!
Mit dem neuen Update kamen ein Haufen neue Animation sowie das lang erwartete Vaulting System. Bei wem also nach dieser Review nur ein bisschen Interesse geweckt wurde sollte sich dieses Spiel aufjedenfall nicht entgehen lassen!

So first we come to the positive Things from the game right now:

• Joining a Server ist decent and fast
  
• The setting is nice
  
• there are Many things to do
  
• The quest are good written so the game have a storyline
  
• Server owners can do their own quests which is pretty nice and a unique feature.
  
• the Base building is nice and smooth

Now to the negative things:

• the character creation is in my opinion not good. U have only slide options, no different face, body... Options, which makes every character looks stupid.
  
• The wolves are OP, as a new player you can't defend yourselfe. They following you very long and if they hit you they do massive damage and as new player you can't craft a bandage that fast or u don't even have a recipe for it already.
  
• The AI (Animals/Npc's) are pretty bad animated, they are lagging and it feels pretty unoptimized.
  
• The Controls in overhaul feel pretty squishy
  
• The quest menu.. I don't know I can't get with it..
  
• The combat is not really good. There is a option to dodge and stuff but it doesn't feel smooth at all.

Some things I want to mention also are:
1. U need to like the quests they are really like in other mmorpgs
Gather this.. Gather this.. Kill this..
2. The feeling about being a viking doesn't come up in my opinion, (focused on the early game)

server problems still not fixed since beta, fatal error, only if u have luck u can connect. Im normaly really kind with early games but this is game breakin. Please fix and everything is fine.

Actually i don't understand the negative review's.

People complain about unstable servers, non-functioning group games, problems with storing data (for example, not storing personalized characters) and much more.

The hitherto hours I could experience in this magnificent game show anything but that.
For me, none of the above mentioned problems have occurred. Of course, there a bug sometimes, but you should not nail the devil to the wall after 3 days.

Also, people complain about the fact that you can almost never play Jason, but mostly have to play survivalist.

For me, the Balance between Survivalist or Jason is good. And playing Survivalist (with friends or with randoms) makes a lot of fun!!

In addition, there are people who complain about Jason's abilities are overpowered. But you have to look at this closley.

There are 8 players, each of these players has different skills in which he is good, and in which he is rather not so good. If you are in a lobby for example there are only people have "fast sprint" , but "no luck", then the round of course takes longer and Jason has enough time to slaughter all easily. If the skills are balanced (which, of course, is a matter of luck), Jason usually has no chance to catch them all.

In this sense, ignore the negative reviews and get into the game! I would highly recommend it.
