This game is nothing like Quake 2. Don't even try to compare it to Quake 2.
Only similar things in these two games are sound assets, which might have as well been blatantly ripped off Quake 2 and put into this game. Quake 2 pistol animation is also not the best, but it's nowhere near one in Dark Raid. And gameplay wise, this game is just nowhere near the experience you can get in Quake 2.
The level design in Dark Raid is just abysmal, gunplay is nonexistent. Seriously, if they're claiming this game to be an "old-school experience", they failed to deliver it in all possible ways.
