Risk of Rain 2 is pure chaos in the best way. You’ll die a lot, get overwhelmed by swarms of enemies, and probably scream at your screen. I love progressing from weakling survivor to overpowered god. Truly, go from a LowTierGod vs HighTierHuman. The item ♥♥♥♥ is so punishing and so fun. Play it with friends if you want to truly feel the Risk of Rain.

Also, mods are really fun. I recommend Better Bazaar, LookingGlass, Sandswept, Starstorm2 and Enforcer, Mortician, and Command and Conquer for survivors.

Arkham Knight definitely has a lot going for it, especially in terms of graphics and gameplay, and the story is good, but it isn't without its issues.

What made an Arkham game a good Arkham game was the boss fights, like in Origins with the Bane boss fight, or the Deathstroke boss. But in Arkham Knight, there's none of that. Everything revolves around the Batmobile in this game.

The problem is: The Batmobile is way too overused. At first, driving around feels cool, but then every other mission starts forcing you into tank battles or car chases. And like I said, even the boss fights rely on it.

Instead of a memorable fisticuffs fight against Deathstroke or the Arkham Knight, or a Scarecrow boss fight where you get to beat up a bunch of fear toxin enemies (something similar to the Ra's fight from Arkham City could've been neat), you are instead taking down big-name characters such Deathstroke in a tank, which feels impersonal and kind of lazy.

Despite all of that, the game is still good. But it is not a good Arkham game because of this missing component. I can recommend it as a game, but I would much rather play Arkham Origins or City.

Great game and deserved GOTY 2023. Larian really knocked 'em dead that day, Worldbuilding is phenomenal since it's DND, and like a DND campaign you get so many choices. I'm doing like my 4th run of this game and I just recently discovered ♥♥♥♥ you could do in Act 1 that I never did or knew you could did.

It's one of the most immersive RPGs I've ever played, and honestly, the amount of content here makes most games look like they’re running on side quests alone. The variety in classes, races, and backgrounds means the replay value is off the charts. Sets a whole new bar for the RPG genre.

But allow me one moment of self indulgence to discuss the elephant in the room: Look, I get it. It’s a turn-based game, and you have to plan your moves carefully. Fine. But why the hell do I feel like a glorified turret stuck in place every single turn?

Let me break it down for you: I move 10 feet. Cool. That’s my entire turn because I accidentally clicked one tile too far. I miss my Eldritch Blast because RNGesus decided to take a coffee break. Awesome. Now I’m standing there, a sitting duck with no movement, no backup action, and nothing left to do but cry as an owlbear mauls me. Oh, and when I actually do hit? Sure, it’s satisfying—but why does it feel like a miracle every time? I’m starting to think “spell save DC” is just code for “hope you like whiffing.”

Playing as a Warlock in BG3 feels like being the kid in gym class who gets picked last for dodgeball. You’re standing there, trying to look cool with your fancy spells, but really, you’re just hoping you don’t die because you’ve got nothing else left in the tank after one mistake.

And don’t even get me started on trying to balance Hex with Eldritch Blast while managing spell slots. It's like being given a toolbox, but the only thing in it is a hammer. Yeah, it’s useful, but it gets old fast when it’s the only tool I can use effectively.

Anyways, with all that said, Baldur’s Gate 3 is still one of the best RPGs I’ve ever played.

A brilliant game that is meant as a remembrance to one of the greatest authors of the 20th century of literature.

RIP Franz Kafka

I like playing this game. When it first came out, it had lots of problems like performance issues. But now, with updates, most of those issues are gone, and Callisto Protocol has become a game worth playing. The fighting is fun and not too hard, and searching for loot is enjoyable. But one thing that annoys me is how tough it is to get enough money for upgrades.
