I have no words for how much I love this game, but here's some anyways:

• Every single character, no matter how minor, has heaps of personality.
  
• The interior dialogue is clever as hell, and blows every other interior narrator out of the water. Breaking the personality into 24 different entities actually gives you the sense of being a conflicted person, which I have yet to see matched in any other game.
  
• All the dialogue is incredibly sharp, and the interplay between The Detective and Kim is always rewarding.
  
• The political aspect of the game is the most solid of any game I've ever played; regardless of what political side you take, it's always perfectly nuanced.
  
• Skill checks are always rewarding, even when you fail.
  
• You have immense freedom to be any sort of detective you want. Brute force your way through anything? Sure. Sherlock-type know-it-all? You got it. A detective thats solely guided by amphetamines and intuition? Done.
  
• An ending that comes out of nowhere, but still feels incredibly gratifying.

10/10. I no longer hesitate when people ask me my favorite game of all time. To anyone reading this: BUY THIS GAME. You will not regret it.

8/10 A bit clumsy of a "virtual desktop" but a fantastic "VR Hangout".

I shouldn't have to open netflix to watch a movie. it should show on screen, but otherwise a fantastic game.

Ok, i have had polarizing opinions on this game, but here goes.

When you first start the game, you're greeted by attempting to infiltrate the Soviet Consulate. And then, as you're about to go up, you're greeted by a guy who tells you to go find a mailbox with chalk on the side, which you can ignore or follow. (There's no prompt to do so.) On my first playthrough i ignored, and i was greeted by a boring fetch mission with a glitchy dial phone, which then lead to a pretty boring game, purely because i put no time into it. It was short and un-appetizing, and the humor almost felt juvenile. But, on the second playthrough, i decided to follow the things the NPCs told me and i had a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blast. The side missions easily added 3 times the game's face value, and all the side missions and easter eggs felt actually funny. So, that's it.

8/10, please follow the side missions for a much superior experience.

Also, there is a parody of Quake called Wedding Qake built in, it's fantastic and addicting. Wedding Qake: 8/10, lack of options.

It's like Skyrim, with papers.

Civilization 5 is one of those amazing games that makes you stay up till 6 in the morning, downing Red Bull, screaming when you finally eliminate that arsehole who took your tiny town over 200 turns ago, however you just tok his capital.

The game runs smoothly on basically any machine, and mine's a brick. If it doesn't run smoothly in normal mode, theres a "Tactical" mode that basically can run on a toaster. That is, if that toaster has DirectX 9.

You will play hundreds on hundreds of turns. You will stay up till the break of dawn. And you will love every second of it.

11/10 would buy again

Yes. This game has so much untapped potential.
