Wow! I had little expectations for a single-player game made by EA but this is something special. If all EA games were this good I'd be very happy.

REALLY powerful controller. Might be a bit daunting at first to set-up for some games that don't natively support it, but oh my god the amount of possible customization you have at your fingertips is enormous. I especially love the trackpad.

Flashpoint adds a bunch of fun new side missions that are very challenging and rewarding to complete. Debatable if it is worth $20, but overall I enjoyed it.

This might be one of the best games made for the single-player RPG (true RPG) experience, let alone one in the BattleTech universe. If you have any modicum of interest in the BattleTech universe, this is absolutely worth the purchase. To everyone else, if you like XCOM or enjoy a great RPG experience then I would have to recommend it as well.
