As close as you can get to being in a WW2 movie. Absolutely epic gameplay (and much faster than Squad).

The last patch, titled "Emerald Bear", finally brought CoH3 into proper "release status" which is to say this is how the game SHOULD have been released. Relic has finally fixed issues that have persisted since beta, and given the game basic functionality that has existed in RTS games for decades. It is embarrassing that is took this many months to get CoH3 to this state but at least it finally happened.

A nice continuation of the story, with a REALLY challenging final boss/mission. Adds additional items and perks too. Well worth it if you are a fan of this game.

Cold Iron *needs* to fix the door-cheese exploit in multiplayer. Beyond that this game is extremely fun, has a good story, and is a great addition to the Aliens universe.

This game feels like it is Early Access. So many aspects of it feel unfinished, unpolished, or poorly implemented. The Armory Exchange, for example, requires players to camp it on the hour every hour for gear upgrades where in VT2 you could just craft the next item you wanted. Oh, and the crafting aspect of this game is "work in progress" with a lovely "Coming Soon!" tag on its options. The story is non-existent and the cutscenes are pointless. The load-times between maps are horrendous. There is no sense of character development/immersion like you had with the U5 in VT1/VT2, despite the prologue having you make a lengthy set of selections pertaining to your character's backstory (that never comes into play ever again).

I'm sure the game will be much improved over the next two years (in typical FatShark fashion), but as of right now VT2 is just the superior game. And I cannot recommend a new game when you have to "wait" for it to be up to standards with its predecessor.

Swinging a hammer is fun. Swinging a hammer at a rat is even more fun. Now swinging a hammer at rats AND Chaos...Unbeatable fun! 10/10 game.

The only real combined-arms game that plays across a continent-sized scale. Sure there are some things that can be annoying to deal with, but overall it is an enjoyable shooter.

This game has no right being this radical.
