Game looks and feels amazing. It is really extraordinary how much it immerse you in the world.

Combat is mid. Lot of dodging, parrying, running away. Not my favourite but its challenging and balanced enough across the 4 difficulty levels that you will find the one you can play on. It is clear this combat system was made for controller, works better with it.

Campaign is about 6-8 hours long depends on how much are you just running around checking out stuff or dying due to diff. Very cinematic, story is a bit dull especially if you have no idea about the lore of WH40k as the game won't explain ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about it. I really recommend to look up a quick lore video to understand what the heck is going on in WH40k to be able to enjoy the game more.

After campaign you can do PVP or PVE operations. There are a variety of classes with meaningful differences. PVP has extremely low TTS, kinda fun. PVE operations are on the same level as campaign, there is 6 of them, they are quite long and challenging so this game is not for "relaxing". Weapon unlocks are cross-class, but anything armor (its only visual) is class specific. The weapon upgrades and the perk tree are very important, they do give you a lot of utility and punch. So meanwhile you can try deep dive into the hardest difficulty, keep in mind you will be in a nerfed state.

There are some rough things, like not being able to join to the server, disconnects during loading, some places you can get stuck. All in all its a solid game.

6/10 if you just wanna play something and 8/10 if you are WH40k fan.

Medieval Rimworld with its systems expanded, global map is a lot more detailed, important, Crusader Kings (light) like.

There is army management, wages, prices, production.

Looks, feels solid.

Story sucks, Shooting is mid. AI is braindead. Gathering, exploration is great. Base building is solid. You can play it for free without any issue.

Update: Endgame also sucks.

7/10 edit: 6/10 due to endgame and wipes.

Best movie i have ever played.

Beautiful, but soulless.

Story is cringe, barely any strategy or tactics involved. Get a big blob of ships and send it towards the enemy.

Its Two point hospital in space, its just a very dull experience.

There is zero difficulty in this game. You do the same thing basically in every map. You don't need to worry about the money, training, staff or anything. You just put down the same rooms, put 3 piece of decor in them, a window and you statisified most of the alien desires. Then you hire a trainee because it makes zero difference what kind of staff you have as a trainee will become a "full fledged expert" after 5 minutes of gametime. I haven't built a single training facility or research since the tutorial. They are useless.

Now there is a solid core here, runs well. They just need to add either some complexity or difficulty to it. Price is alright, you gonna have some fun playing through the story i am at like chapter 7 or 8.

I am just not sure i am having fun or just progress for the sake of progress.

Lets hope they patch it, improve upon it.

Factorio in space, not necessarily a better one though. we will see how this goes.

better iteration than the last one, i am not sure how entertaining this will be compared to viscera due to the limit of the setting. We will see i guess.
