This is a short RPG game, the story is really good (Grimm is best dad). The control timing and leveling progression in the starts off slow, but you will be snowballing to the end really quick. If you have 2-3 hrs to spend, please give this game a try, it is free.

Early Access Review
I don't usually write reviews but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game deserves one. I may not know wtf the story is about or who any of the characters are BUT THE GAMEPLAY IS AMAZING. It is so satisfying to play, the combat is fluid, you get to feel like a badass hacking down on enemies or going into the battlefield gunblazing with supernatural powers. For a short game made by a small development team the game have some really nice replayability and it is even cheaper now when it is on sale. It is only in early access but I feel like I got my money's worth of entertain from it, I can't imagine what the full game is going to be like.

Same reason with others who don't like the game really, repeating the same level 3 times isn't fun.

People who like the game believe:
- Each time you repeat the level there are minor differences: new mob, slightly different objective.
- The story needs time to develop and you get to uncover more things as you explore the map.
- This is clearly an arcade dlc, if you aren't looking for repetition then you shouldn't buy it.

If the thing mentioned above justify the same dull level design for you then knock yourselves out, get the game. I would recommend getting it on sale if you really want to give the game a go.

With a few exceptions like Witcher 3, do you ever have that feeling with new open world games where the gameplay is fun and the graphics are great but the story it tells and the exploration it provides are shallow and mediorce at best? If you feel the same way, might I suggest dusting Fallout: New Vegas off from your list of backlog game and give it a try. While your character might look like a potato and the game itself might seem "outdated" compared to Fallout 4, this is hands down one of the best open world rpg out there from the last decade. The lore is amazing, the dialogue is engaging (or goofy, if you want it to be) and the amount of choices you have to customize your character and finish the game YOUR WAY is amazing for a game from 2010. Heck, you could just persuade the final boss to politely go away if your persuation level is high enough. I decided to replay this game again after so long and wanted to play all the DLCs available this time around and I just get over the fact how UGLY this game is, but then I reached New Vegas where all the quests starts popping up and I knew I won't be sleeping early tonight. I feel invested in the world I am in, the companions you meet along the way, and the final conflict that happens by the end of the game, your choices in quest matters and not all choices are easy to make, I don't think you can say the same for Fallout 4 or 76 in that aspect. So not only is the gameplay fun, the story is fantastic.
Fun fact: Did you know that this game is developed by Obsidian Entertainment instead of Bethesda; of which Bethesda gave the team at Obsidian only 18 months to work on this game and the team had to use Fallout 3 engine to make this game on and somehow it is still ten times better than Todd Howard "16 TIMES THE DETAIL" Fallout 76? If you think this game looks awful? Blame Bethesda.
