I either play this game for less than 1 hr, win a game and feel like a god or play it for 10 hrs straight, neglecting work, sleep, family, friends and the desire to kill myself and then feel salty because my RNG was ♥♥♥♥. So I guess it is a 10/10.

Mr Potter, it is LeviosaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

UPDATE: I finished the game and 100% the in-game tracker. Still have 3 achievements left which are only available on 3 other playthroughs (dependent on which House you pick). Overall, the game took me 65 hrs in total to fully complete and I enjoyed every moment of it.
So here is the thing..... DON'T BUY IT/ PLAY IT RIGHT NOW, I am going to say the obvious here but it is still very buggy with many quest breaking bugs. 40+ hours in, my game saves got corrupted and the game forces me to play again from the beginning and it took me hours of fiddling to get my original save files back and are able to continue the game normally (even then, my character profile are still corrupted and weird looking).
-Some quests will break if you interacted with the quest item prior to starting the quest.
-Some collectibles will not be registered but the achievement will unlock on Steam instead.
-My character was stuck in a cutscene that prevents them to move inside a story mission and I have to reload from an older save to get out of it, (without an older save, before you start the story mission then you would be screwed).
- Stuttering and lag is the most common issue amongst players even if their PC is a beast. Change in season like Fall and Winter will drops your frame rate like crazy.
- The funniest bug I encountered was entering the pet haven in your base, and the camera now focuses solely on the pet instead of my main character, whom I can still control but can't do anything else. It is moments like these that the game either hard crashes my PC or I have to shut the game down myself.

If this is just any Ubisoft open world games, I would have asked for a refund rather than salvage my old saves to 100% the game. This game does something that no other Harry Potter games have done before, it lets you attend Hogwarts as your character, flying on a broom to explore Hogwarts and Hogsmeade as it was described in the book/ movies. I was immersed in the game despite the horrible FPS and bugs, Hogwarts castle is a sight to behold and thats just 30% of the game map. So for that, this game is can't be any lower than 8/10 for me. Hogwarts Legacy isn't a perfect game, but you can damn well see and feel the passion of the developers who made it, and I genuinely believe that you are doing yourself a disservice if you play the game now before it is patched and fixed.

I think the most important thing in a JRPG besides a good story, fun gameplay with challenging battles is a brilliant soundtrack. The soundtrack can't just be good or great, it needs to be so good that you would be left in a trance as it makes your time grinding and doing the repetitive stuff feels like a terrific time; and you know what? This game fantasy soundtracks are masterpieces. I haven't felt this way about a fantasy JRPG soundtrack since Bravely Default and would still look the soundtrack up on Youtube because I can't get it out of my head. 10/10 would re-install this game to listen to the soundtrack again.

Cyberpunk 2077 really brings out the weeb in me:
- Mastering the blade instead of getting laid. (I failed the romance options)
- Making people unalive themselves with my l33t h4x0r magic eyes.
- Collecting all the fedoras I can find.
- What is a shower?
- Crying when that ONE Edgerunner song comes on.
VERDICT:
9/10 Not enough fedoras

Playing on patch 1.6 I do believe that most of the game breaking bug have been sorted out. This is coming from someone who plays on low settings on 60fps who couldn't even play the game tutorial during launch. Cyberpunk is making good and steady progress in polishing what is already a great game with amazing gunplay beneath all those bugs and missing contents and I can't wait to see what the next patch will bring.

This is like junk food the video game. You have some free time but you are emotionally exhausted, so you play this for a bit while watching Youtube and that's a pleasant time right there. It isn't hard, it isn't complicated and it is cheaper than actual drugs that also provide you dopamine. Personally, I like to play this game while listening to an Audiobook, it isn't intensive and won't distract me from what I am listening to, and sometimes that's all you really need to enjoy your weekend. Some might consider this game a waste of time compared to playing other games, but I think that as long as you enjoy your free time the way you want to, you didn't waste it.

I guess there is just something simplistic, yet enjoyable about watching number going up that isn't freaking inflation.

Welcome to Night Survivor, where your upgrades cover the screen and you die 2 mins in because you didn't see the enemy behind you.

Jokes aside, great game, and likely will get better over time with more tweaks and buffs to other abilities.

Quite a few are heavily comparing this game to Vampire Survivor however, it literally came out 2 days ago so clearly it won't have ten times the amount of content VS has and there will be bugs and skill balance issue to work out.

As a new entry to this genre of "Bullet Heaven", this game is providing a new difficulty setting that Vampire Survivor doesn't have (at least not yet) for player to mess around with.

Edit: With every new updates, the game got more characters with more unique abilities and upgrades to experiment with. Love that the developer are providing options to edit the color palette in game so that player stop dying from not being able to see what happened on screen. This game is heading in the right direction and I can't wait to see what comes next.

Usually I would prefer to finish the game and 100% it before I make a review. However, the longer I play this game, the less I seem to enjoy it and I kind of got the gist of what the rest of the game will be like when I do finish it and got all the achievements; so I might as well say my piece now.

Pros:
This is a very fun 90s style shooter similar to the old Doom and Wolfenstein game. It follows the same formula of : find colored key cards, advance through levels and shoot the baddies and bosses. There are tons of hidden secret rooms just like the old school shooters and references to some of those old fps as well which I thought is really neat. I think what got me interested in the game is the RPG Roguelike system that this game has. You have weapons with different upgrades that you can pick from, magical spells that you can learn and a stats system that provide bonus perks which lets your customize how you want to play the game. The basics are Melee brute, Magic caster and Gunsmith but you can create your own special build if you want. Personally I am making my character into a Gunsmith so I can just pummel the enemies with neverending bullets instead, I might try using a magic build on my second playthrough and a melee build if I ever feel like playing the game again for a third time. So the game is replayable and the actual gameplay is fun. On higher difficulty like Hardcore, the game gives you only 1 life and if you die, thats it, you have to start from level 1 and I thought thats pretty fun and challenging, similar to 90s FPS back then.

Cons:
Most of the game difficulty comes from finding the secret rooms on each level which gives you extra level to increase your stats and upgrade points to make your weapons stronger. This means that if you go out of your way to look for these hidden rooms, you will be overleveled for most of the game content. The only challenge are the boss fights if you are going in blind, but once you know the boss attack pattern/ gimmicks, you will be able to kill them easily after that. So unless you are playing Hardcore, or chooses to avoid hidden secret room, the rest of the game challenge is mostly running around finding the exit instead of actually shooting mobs down.

This is just my own preference and limitation but games like these which main challenge comes from "map puzzle" eventually stop being a run and gun and become a run and "where the duck is the exit?" game. By that point, I would be nauseous from running in circles looking for the way out and just want to go play Bloon Tower Defense 6 instead. I am perfectly aware that old school shooters are like this as well where part of the game itself is finding the exit with the keycard. Which is why I think this is my own issue and not the game's fault.

What I do think is a fault here is the fact that I can't replay a level after the patch. I am assuming the reason for this is because the developer want to encourage player to go out there and find hidden rooms to level up instead of grinding levels by restarting a level over and over again which would make Hardcore mode a joke. Despite my previous complaint that the game itself is already really easy and you can over level if you found all the hidden rooms, I still think that the developer is going about the wrong way. I think that they should let player replay levels if they want to on any mode except hardcore mode if they want to make that mode challenging. But please let player replay a level if they want to, I personally don't "grind" a level again, but I think that it would great to be able to revisit a level to find secret hidden rooms that I might have missed before and accidentally progressed to the next room by accident. I don't want to have to replay the game from the bloody beginning just to find 1 single hidden room I might have missed by mistake.

Overall, Project Warlock did a fantastic job to replicate both the good and the bad from old school Doom and Duke Nukem games and unless you are grew up playing these games, you might Project Warlock kind of boring halfway through the game. But if you are looking for some nostalgia in something new, I think this game does the job really well.

Edit: So I finished the game today and found out another flaw the game has, it still has a few bugs here and there that needs fixing. Some of them like the "enemy can't be killed" isn't that bad since they can't hurt me either, but then you my upgraded weapons bugged out on the final boss and I can't shoot straight for some reason and kept dying is VERY game breaking and not fun. This game has been out for a while now and bug like that needs to be fixed, I died at least 8 times due to my gun avoiding the boss like ♥♥♥♥♥ himself has freaking plot armor like whaaaaaaaaaaaaat??? I feel like I would be in a worse mood had I not save up on lives for the final boss and died due to the dumb bug instead.
SO, on top of the intentionally bad/ outddated game mechanic, there are also unintentional game mechanic that still haven't been fixed yet. Do keep that in mind before you buy this game. Here is hoping the sequel will actually learn from its predecessor the developer will actually fix stuff in early access this time around.
