Really fun game that is best enjoyed with a microphone - not because you NEED one but because a lot of long time players will get on at you for not using one. If you can get past the toxicity of the players during free weekends and take the time to learn the game, you'll have a great time. The TTK is great which can be a little annoying when you complete an objective and there are some lingering enemies picking you off but it allows for high risk, high reward gameplay. I only used a mic two or three times and still had a blast - you can use your ping system but of course, being able to add that additional information through chat would be a great help to your squad. If you're like me and you're a bit shy, I definitely think a group of friends would have a blast with a game like this.

A bit more focused on jump scares than Phasmo but it's really fun. Exiling the ghost is entertaining and when low on sanity can be quite tense - trying to keep your candles lit and reciting the lines while getting your crucifix or incense ready can be the stressful in a fun way. I have a bit more issues with performance on this compared to Phasmo but it's a really fun alternative.

Aside from server related 'garbaj' and mostly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cosmetics and questionable events that require you splash all your money into them, this is the best BR game out there - imo.

Really disappointed with it. I really enjoyed Deep Rock Galactic and when I saw this, it looked kind of similar but with dinosaurs instead of bugs. The first game, I played solo and it was just really chaotic and unfun - ended up quitting to menu to try co-op. Eventually got a party through matchmaking, we spent the first minute shooting at a breakdancing dinosaur and then went on with the objective. Again, really boring and unfun. Shooting doesn't feel impactful, the GL - whether you can you can change the ammo later, idk - sucks without impact grenades. Characters are ugly and don't really have a whole lot of excitement to them, I'd just give it a miss.

Very well optimised though, I'll credit them for that.

Really enjoyable game. It's playable solo but definitely more enjoyable with a small group of friends playing at the same time. It has structural integrity in the building system which makes you think more about what you're actually placing and where - though this can be frustrating at times when you can't see the face of something you're trying to snap to as I found while building over water. Can feel very grindy so it's not catered to everyone, don't expect the game to hold your hand if you're going in blind. The combat is fine, it could do with tweaking to feel a little more engaging at times. You may spend your time just juggling stamina while being chased by a giant mob of enemies. I'm looking forward to see what the future holds for this game, it definitely needs a bit more meat to it in terms of the world and exploration as you can usually see everything a biome has to offer very quickly upon arrival.

The hours I have on this game have strictly been from free weekends due to the fact that I'm broke as all hell and let me say that this game is really addicting when you've got the right squad. The classes are very versatile and when everyone is working effectively, it is insanely clean. If you enjoyed the Left for Dead games then you'll probably enjoy this too - so long as you don't mind the mining and exploration of generated maps. I do find that playing solo can be very tedious and I've normally given up - especially on the mining missions where you have to locate 250 Morkite as it takes painfully long at times - but when you jump into a game with one of each class, each doing what they can. Phenomenal. Scouts being assisted by the Engineers platform gun is a great combination that I'd urge everyone to try when playing with others. I would like to see a voice communication wheel for things like "I need a platform" or "deploy a zipline here" to better cooperate with others if voice chat isn't for you. I'll definitely be picking this up when I can as it's tons of fun and the soundtrack is pretty great. Don't forget to buy your fellow Miners a round after a good run. ROCK AND STONE, bois.

Fantastic new FPS with stunning graphics and amazing gameplay mechanics! Recommended for fans of the Battlefield series!

I actually enjoyed this game to some extent. Putting aside it's near enough pay-to-win aspect, horrible texture qualities, bad weapon handling etc, it does provide you with using hostages for cover, rappelling into buildings, driving at high speeds to fire upon other vehicles and other cool things. Sure enough, there are other games which have this and most likely better made than this BUT you can play this for free - kinda. With a little work and less of the need to have to pay for your equipment, this game could actually be great. But for now, we shall stick with this.

This game. This game is so damn addictive. I just wish there were more weapons and more standard characters. <3
