Mom can we have Mass effect?

does that mean it is bad? No.
Are does comments about plant dialogs true? yes.
is the story completely stupid? No.

The story is good enough to drive the game and give a sense of progress.
while the UI and Menu can be a bit tricky to get used to it is not as bad as other comments make it out to be.
The combat can be tricky at times but give a sense of rewarding ones u figure the right tactics out - even though the RNG can be quiet frustrating.

I guess i wouldnt recommend to buy it for the full price, but on 75% sale (~5€ for me) it is worth getting if u are interressted in this short of games.

only reason i dont give it 11/10 like PoK is because u cant play as Malkavian.

First things first:

An absolute Piece of Art!

i got utterly consumed by it. after finding two endings im left with more qustions than answers and will just be "forced" to
play it again once my mind isnt occupied by it any more to uncover everything that is going on.
the replay value is immensively

you feel more involded and drawn into the scenery than most graphic based games and the Story is great. I simply love it.

I really wish they could turn such a Story in a game like Bloodlines (again) with modern graphics and controls.

i could go on endlessly:
if you like VTM or only Vampires in general: MUST play.

but even if you are not interessted in that kind of stuff, but enjoy a really good story you would still not regret it!

First off:
i wonder what are people running this game on that they complain about the performance. i playing it on Win 7 and a Gen 2 i7 and it runs like a charm, only the start up time is exzessive.

Now to the game it self:
As a great fan off CK2 i can say its awesome!
while some mechanics became a little easier to come by others became more immersive and/or deeper. at a certain point CK2 to felt more like a Tycoon game than a Grand strategie while it now really feels like you have to act to keep things together - and the hook system really helps with that (and is entertaining).
and the Culture system really puts some great options and need of consideration on the table, specially when starting as Tribals.

the only thing i really have to complain about is that the outcome of events chains seems to be fixed the moment they start - while in CK2 they really were RNG based and ended different each time u load and clicked the option (beside ur Death after interpreting the stars wrong as head of reformed Hellenic... anyway...), or the gender and trait pool of ur child is always different at the end of pregnancy each time u load in - kinda sucks when u have to relooad an entire year back because your daughter dies in childbirth despite haveing no negative health traits; but after reloading a year back and her pregnantcy starts and ends an other day she survives...

but overall it really feels like an improvement and im noot regreting getting it on sale

I must say, i like this game very much - on its own.
But as a Fallout-Game it is bad.
If they would had make a game like the privious onces (FO3 and NV) and ADDED the great things of this game, they would have created an almost perfect game and Witcher wouldn´t stood not a single chance for the game of the year.

Pros:
+ The pretty smooth combat engine
+ great atmospher
+ love for details (some how the world appears more autentic then the privious parts)
+ usage for almost everything you find on your endavour
+ settlement building

neutral:
+respamning enemies and items in cleared locations so the game isnt empty after finishing the game but -it happens way to fast, so you finding your self clearing out the same locations over and over again becaus eu know you get the most items out of them
+finally making the Power Armor realy bada** but -breaking some of the plot with it

cons (only repeats other people:
- a very small and repeating pool of quests
- small impact of decisions
- removeing the skillchecks
- giving some enemys unnessaryly much hp while deathclaws became pretty easy with a combatshotgun
- last point (is maybe only my owntaste) some weapons looking very awfull, specally in comprehansen with FO:NV and nerving the cal. 50 to death

so i give it a 7-8/10 on its own and a 4/10 as Fallout

my advise if you want to buy it: See it as something on its own, if you want to play a Fallout you might get really disapointed.

I dont understand all the hate this part of the Series takes. it may be not the most intensiv or atmosphericst of all, but it has By far the best combat system of the parts i played befor and the consept of the story is pretty good.

pros:
+ great, intensiv and dynemic combat system
+ interessting storyline cross
+ pretty decent grafics

Neutral:
your followers arent totaly nut

cons:
- more action then horror (i admit that)
- maybe to many "normal" enemies for a RE part

but all in all it gives a Resident Evil expirince and presents still what RE should be

Well i can understand why the biggest part of the community is pissed about this game. At the current date it is realy not worth the price.

But in most parts the game has a good concept and ideas.
its just Unfinished and bad supported in the begining. But im Far away from hatin it like the other players. Sou sould geive the game some time to get its problems fixed, and then it will be a very great FPS

Well its a realy realy awsome game,so stupid that u just can laught about. The game play is very great, the Story
is that crazy to be only called ginius.

only thing I realy miss is the dodgh roll form Saints Row 3, even the superpowers are realy good, to avoid some area shots
they are very bad.

but all in all, if u love nonsence, chaos, destrction and tonnes of fun u are realy right on this game :)
