Get it on Sale. It is a decent game. but definitely the worst in the series. They did so much with crossplay that made PC play that much more difficult to do. Connection issues and problems.

In its current state, I cannot recommend this "game". I say "game" because really it is a demo. or a single level, which takes approximately 10 minutes of play time to complete. I show an hour of game time, because I actually spent 20 minutes figuring out a game breaking bug (Key to a door is not able to be collected at times) and 5 minutes of unstoppable load video (twice because I wast trying to figure something out, and another 15 minutes of the game open but not afk.

You should also be aware that a lot of content in the videos/gifs on the store page is not in the game.

Maybe if you get it on a sale. Maybe if the RELEASE THE WHOLE DAMN GAME instead of a single level. But in this state, I do not recommend it.

The most original thing to happen to chess or chess puzzles in the last 50 years. I am having a blast. Cannot recommend this enough.

10/10 Would sh*t my pants again!

I love Croteam and all the Serious Sam series.

And I truly WANT to like this. But Talos Principle is feels very much like a Portal-esque puzzle game that is trying to not be a Portal-esque puzzle game. And because of this, in my mind, I can't shake the comparisons to Portal. If I played this before I played Portal, I would have liked it easily.

Perhaps I will try again with the Serious Sam DLC and see if it improves the gameplay

TL:DR - Game is worth the asking price despite a major flaw.

Just to be upfront about a HUGE problem with this game, the solutions are hard coded. So if you solve a lock and the answer is 1220, it will always be 1220. With some of these, you can solve the room in a few seconds. This limits the replay-ability of the game.

However, there is a redeeming factor. There are a LOT of community made maps. So far, none of them are as good as the native game levels, but it does add hours of playtime to the game.

Absolutely the best coop game I have ever played. Really fun. Lots of innuendos... not a kids game

I wanted to like this game. I've enjoyed every Wolfenstein game to date. But I honestly cannot recommend this game. My buddy and I love coop and love Wolfenstein, so it is a no brainer right? Wrong. Playing this game, while fun at times, was really a chore. And when the game ended suddenly (because of the lack of an indicator of story vs side missions), we had no reason to grind through the same grind we had been, for no pay off.

Cons
-Lack luster bullet sponge enemies
-Unintuitive mission system so that you don't know what is a story mission or side mission
-Not a single friggin' elevator door works in the game and they all have to be pried open
-The playable characters are annoying AF
-Only 4 real areas in the game and secrets are locked behind skill requirements, so you play the same area's over and over.
-Game just ends. We walked through a door, killed a big guy and the game was over. I had literally 0 motivation to go back and get the side missions that were missed.

This isnt a game. It's EFFIN WORK! LOL
