Loved this! Very much in style of Return of the Obra Dinn. Logic-based investigation using clues in pictured scenarios where you have to determine, often: the victim, the killer, the murder weapon, the locations where events occurred, and the identities of individuals present.

Wild little story, 10+ chapters, pixel, 2D, no speech and pleasant music.

Bonus: Twist ending I probably should have been able to see all along but was pleasantly surprised that I hadn't. Highly recommend.

So many problems...
- Inventory doesn't show all items, but moving arrows shows you have items in your inventory just not accessible to use.
- Items can get "caught" in inventory, so that they're no longer in a proper inventory spot (if you try to drag it out to use it). It is then no longer usable, even though it is in sight in the inventory screen.
- Items in game show controls (such as "show cursor," likely to operate numbers on a lock). But indicated control doesn't work, so lock not accessible.
- English frequently misspelled or not properly translated.

Fantastic logic-based detective puzzler. Follow characters' paths around a top-down blueprint of a room. Listen to their conversations to determine what happened. Rewind and follow other characters to understand the full story. Scenes are 5-15 minutes long and can include up to a dozen characters to follow. Voice acting is great.
Highly recommend.

The graphics are good, the constant rain and relaxing background music are atmospheric - and that's about all I can recommend. Is it horrible? No.

You're going back and forth from places, in classic Point & Click Adventure-style, but so frequently for so little it becomes burdensome and boring. You have to try both characters to get different characters to say/do things, but with no common sense about why a character might respond differently to one than the other. No mini games/puzzles.

$25?? Wait until it's under $10 if anything. I can't recommend it.

Boring... :(
It had potential to be an interesting little adventure puzzle, but all you're doing is Spoiler text moving a telescope, finding a planet, naming planets and pushing through dialogue ... over and over and over again.

Given the positive reviews, big disappointment. :(

Nice little adventure game, hand drawn art
The hand drawn scenes were the showstoppers., very pretty. Slightly surreal planet, point and click as you go, puzzles so simple I'm not sure you'd call them puzzles, relaxing soundtrack that matched the scenes. The story made sense, and it was nice that there was no dialogue and instead amusing little grunts and pictograms. It's a cozy feel-good that's about 3.5 hours, with easter eggs you can go back for in chapter mode if you didn't find them all on the first run-through. Also played just fine on 1.6 GHz Mac, lower than the 2 GHz requirement.

The only thing I'd say against the game is that the walking and action/pick up controls could use some work. You can only click on the path to get around, instead of clicking anywhere on the screen, and you can only activate items on the screen if you're close to them, which was a bit of a pain.

All in all a nice little game I wish had lasted longer. Looking forward to seeing what else the developers do.

It's hard to give a free game a poor review, and the art style and story content alone makes me want to see more from this developer.

Unfortunately the slow unskippable dialogue, which comes out a letter at a time, is pretty unbearable. Paired with the frame rate difficulties, I just couldn't do it.

Art is beautiful. Music is nice and relaxing, matches the atmosphere. Some puzzles are unique, some a bit simple - but the simplicity matches the gentleness of the game. Only downsides are sometimes clunky controls and it's so short. But given that it's a one-person developer, it's worth $6.99 if you're into atmospheric puzzlers. Would like to see more from this developer.

A solid logic game, easy to understand and easy to make mistakes. It's a game like Sodoku you can find by different vendors, branded differently. This is one that's pirate themed, with a cross of swords to "x" out the wrong pieces as you find the right ones. The puzzle boards get bigger as you advance, collecting stars to unlock harder sets of levels. There aren't bells and whistles; it does exactly what it's supposed to. When it works.

My one gripe, and it's NOT a small one, is that the game occasionally crashes right as you successfully finish a level - and it didn't save when you open it up again. Given that these are challenging levels and upwards of 40 minutes to complete, it's frustrating to say the least. Many a crash reports have I sent off to Apple as the game simply up and quits.

It is good? Yep, when it works. But you've been warned :-/

Great puzzle platformer! I only wish it was longer, and I had played it sooner!
- Controls are easy (jump height ftw!)
- Puzzles are not complicated but fun, short and sweet
- Art is beautiful, engaging; music is appropriate
- Sweet little story (about a pastor who loses his daughter to the devil - Pinstripe - in a dark land filled with addicts)
- Second time through allows opening of locked doors, collection of more gems to purchase items, but doesn't add much to the overall experience
- A bit more backtracking (multiple times through the same areas) than I usually like, but it's not too much trouble

Definitely recommend, thanks for the fun!
