only played the first level so far, but it ws fun, will have to put more time into it
unfortunatley at the end of the level i somehow managed to glitch through the floor and couldn't finish it lol
still fun game, picked it up as part of the dead ninja warriors vr bundle

game is great
but the microtransaction for skins is BS
if the game was full release i wouldnt care
but its still in early access
its nothing but a cash grab
but i will keep playing the game because the game is great
i just dont give a ♥♥♥♥ about skins
and it aint worth the money to buy the keys for crates
there should be no pay-wall with anything while its in early access, its makes the dev's/pub's look bad
thats the only reason im saying no
its a no to the pay4skins crap, but a yes for the gameplay itself

i got this when it first went early access
they made lots of promise's but didnt deliver on them
had 200+ hours of fun outta it
but the constant "DX12 is coming" BS and now the massive price hike, i wouldnt recommend getting this game
buy rust or somethhing else, far better price for this kinda game
it is not worth the $60, its worth maybe $30, then also dont forget theres another $20 for the DLC, so the full game is really $80
i think i only paid $25 for it
plus while it was still in early access they release paid DLC
poor optimization, lack of communication with the community unless the ppl r died hard white knights
game had great potental, but falls very very short

only buy if its 75% off or higher, and only if u have a pretty powerful PC because like i said above, very bad optimization on the PC end

running at a sloid 60FPS maxed out settings 1920x1080, on a amd fx 9590 r9 390x 16GB ram
just sat there for 2 hours running around starting off a new game, and i gotta say, it looks pretty solid
was walking past a river in an area, there there fish leaping out of the water, i never remember that from the original, maybe it was there and i didnt pay attention to it tho

gfx wise, it does look alot nice, basicly like there original if you modded the hell out of it while still trying to keep it vanilla content wise

i got it for free because of owning the orignal+dlc, would i recommend this to some who never played it? YES
why? well its got all the DLC in it number 1, and 2 the gfx at its base vanilla level are much better then the base vanilla of the original, so just think what it will end up like once the modding communtiy gets into it

i've genally liked almost all of the AC games
this one i am yet to finish(but then again i have gotten close to finishing others but deleted my save, and avoided all videos to do with previous games, so i can go back, to replay and 100% each game when the mood strikes me)

this one is..... well meh

theres somethings it did well, i.e the city, massive, always stuff going on, interesting things to do

performance is sub par, im running this on an OK gaming desktop
amd fx 9590
16GB 1866 ram
2gb radeon 7870 1ghz(even tho thats below the min sys req)
win7 64bit
and i get an avg framerate of around 40-45, with a few dips to 25-30 when switching in and out of cut scenes
i've had zero crashes so far

would i recommend this game? double edge sword there, YES if its on sale for $30 and under, NO if its at full price

so i would say, worth grabbing if you can get it cheap, otherwise give it a miss and go play AC:rouge or any other of the AC games(my fav is still the original, all the other i cant bring myself to finish except that one, and ive finished it multipul time, have both retail disc and steam version of it, most of my hours were spent in retail disc version of AC1)

so, with all the minor glitches, poor perf, and verious other issue(poor online, etc, etc, etc) like i said above yes on sale for $30 or under otherwise no

this is a great game
only played a few minutes so far
now excuse me while i go change my pants

if you dont own the original DS2, then get this if ur GPU supports DX11
check you GPU before you buy, make sure it meets the minimum req's

asside from that small warning, im having a blast with this game
i own the vanilla/DX9 version with all the DLC so i was able to get this pretty cheap
and yes, while its only minor changes GFX wise, it was worth the money for me

theres alot of hate towards this from ppl who already owned the original version
but no one is forcing them to buy it

if you got the money for it, and a good enough system, then why not grab it
it mixes up the gameplay with mob placement, and also u get NPC invades in area's you never would have gotten them in the original(i got invaded in the starting area!)

anyway, some will like it, others wont
take people opinion's with a grain of salt, just because they dont like something, doesn't mean you wont like it as well

anyway, great game, will keep playing both versions of the game, and keep having fun with both
now back to dieing another 3.4 million times and losing millions of souls!!

played this once, around a year ago
and back then, i couldnt work the game out, so i bailed on it thinking "this is gonna fail"

turns out i was wrong
glad i waited untill the game had more poslish before i went back to it
first play through since its release on steam, lasted for 9 hours straight

fun game, ample freedom
takes a bit to get used to the gameplay mechanics, but as long as you take the time to learn, its faily simple and straight forward

not many free2plays make me want to put any real money into them, but this is the second one that i've play that makes me want to spend some coin on it

hope the dev's keep up this standard
