I have never loved and hated a virtual girl so much at the same time.

It's okay. Not worth $60, but okay.

Note: I have almost no time recorded on the Steam version since I've been using the standalone executable.

Godot is an amazing open-source game engine, perfect for smaller projects like game jam games. Learning it is fairly simple if you already have some coding experience, and even if you don't, the python-like language will make it easy to get into.

In my opinion, it is better than Unity for 2D game development. The 3D engine is a bit wonky but it's slowly getting there.

I've played this game for countless hours on end back when it released on the Wii U. It looks beautiful, sounds beautiful and has a cute little story attached to it. I've recently decided to grab it during a sale and was delighted to experience it again after all these years.

I want to enjoy this game, I really do. But pressing any button in the pause menu just straight up crashes the game, meaning I can never restart or go back in after accidentally hitting pause. Turns out the developer left in a hardcoded path, that, if it doesn't exist on your machine, causes the pause menu to be extremely unstable and cause constant crashes. This has been reported over a year ago but hasn't been fixed.

Game itself is quite enjoyable, having to restart it 20 times is not.

At its core, Warframe is not a bad game at all. Its gameplay is simple and fun... at first. Once you overcome the extremely steep learning curve, you will quickly see that it is a very addicting and time-consuming game. Unless you want to spend money on everything, prepare to grind for countless hours. And it only gets worse as every update adds tons of content to please the veteran players, with new or returning players being overwhelmed by a massive mountain of (mostly meaningless) content.

So unless you have a lot of free time on your hands for the foreseeable future, do not start playing this game. I genuinely feel like I wasted 2000 hours of my life.
