The game is fantastic, the overall gameplay is smooth and the pacing is dynamic. The AI does also play at a decently high level and uses units/spells very efficiently. There are some small issues (I personally dislike spell effect animations), but the game is super solid, gorgeous and offers a ton of depth.

There is nothing to do in the endgame. The game promises a lot, but the mutated dungeon lobbies are empty even on the most populated EU server, making progression at lvl 60 a long, mundane grind. The game is pretty, I'll give them that, and crafting/harvesting is very enjoyable. In long-term, though, the game is an extreme disappointment.

While it's interesting conceptually, combat is fairly frustrating, music is extremely repetitive and the overall gameplay feels clunky and unfinished. I got the game on a 75% sale for 10EUR so it was value for money. This being said, when bought at the full price, it is going to be pretty disappointing.

Super solid game with two very different modes (fast-paced, time-restricted Saga and traditional open-world, chill Survival), fun gameplay, decent class variety. Each weapon offers different skills and the game feels rewarding as you get faster/better at it. ToM has a ton of content to explore and offers a lot of fun with several biomes, multiple bosses and a massive open world. Just don't get convinced against it by a bunch of min-maxing meta slaves who aren't willing to have fun and you're good to go.

The game's premise is fun and at first it is enjoyable when you play the "new player queue". Then, you end up in the "global queue" and the game is not playable anymore as the game does not see how bad you are, placing you in the matches with mostly super experienced players. Everyone is way better than you and there is no skill-based matchmaking. Catching up feels like 1k hours minimum during which you just struggle and not have any fun whatsoever.
It's impossible to do anything with people pulling crazy plays every time and hitting every shot they take. If you're learning the ropes, you shouldn't be matched vs people who have 20k+ hours in the game and play it like a professional playing a piano.

Sure, you can learn, but there seems to be no purpose to this. It's unfun to get smashed every game.

Surprisingly, one of the best tactical RPGs on Steam. Plays like turn-based Diablo, with loads of customisation and VERY hard fights if you choose the high difficulty setting. Really cool character creation options, cool boss fights, amazing loot. It all comes together very, very well.
Play if you like tactical combat, looting and building broken characters.
Don't play if you like narrative-heavy games as this game is very barebones in this regard.

It could be a great game but it seems that the devs took the money from its early success and left. EA game with no content updates for a year. Shameful.

The game is extremely barebones and basic, the system is super shallow and the updates are fairly slow.

Honestly, the game is really barebones, lacks depth and challenge. Endgame is a very repetitive grind, gearing is simplistic and there are very few actual challenges to beat barring the Commander Raids.
Growing your character is pretty pointless as there is no real incentive to do so, once you beat a Commander Raid one time, you just spam it weekly until the next raid is released. Yes, WoW does the same thing but LA's raids are very short, with 2-3 bosses each and the raid mechanics are cheap and dumbed down to the point they are annoying to do most of the time (1 person failing a mechanic often means instant party wipe, which creates an illusion of difficulty) and are far from satisfying.
Due to how easy the game is, you just "win" all the time and there is nothing to test your skill on. It was a fun, pretty game to play but the endgame loop is just extremely disappointing design-wise and this is unlikely to change.
