Very few games have made me feel like the actions I did had game-changing consequences, but dang this one takes you for a ride. While sometimes it lists things out for you like "You said X to evelyn and Y to me, this was incorrect and now you lose," I was able to ignore this because the story was just so good and kept me engaged the whole time. I felt like everything I did actually helped me or hindered me throughout the whole time, like my subconsious focusing on one character in chapter 4 and not paying attention to the other actually led to them not talking to me until a future chapter. This game is more than a sort-of "Visual Novel," It's an interactive story where your actions really do have consequences, and you'll actually have to think to play this.

This is the pinnacle of survival games. Screw fancy graphics, screw complications. This game is the perfect survival game. While seeming shallow at the surface, it has a great amount of depth, just enough to make you want to restart and try to get further, while not getting you so mad you ragequit.

You can talk about your experience with LEGO Batman for the DS and only two teammates will think you’re high. 11/10. Also there’s guns so that’s cool.
