What can I say about Tomb Raider. Well, I don't want to spoil anything, but I will say it's one of the best games of this generation.

You start off as Lara Croft, in which you experience many endeavors that unfold while playing as her. She specializes in whatever you want her to be, whether its using a bow and arrow, weapons like a pistol and shotgun, or just to boost up your survival skills.

While you are Lara, you can do many things, such as climbing on reachable rocks, jump from one place to another, and of course hunting down everyone trying to kill you.

The graphics are fantastic. It's not much of an open world, but seeing all these tombs and ancient temples give the game a great and immersive experience. It also makes the game ooze with atmosphere without any technical hiccups or frame rate drops, which sometimes ruin the experience. You don't need an amazing graphicss card to play this. I have a GTX 660 TI with a Core i5 2500k @ 3.3ghz and it runs very smooth.

The enemy variety is smart and will hunt you down. Unless you're not spotted, you can use your special bow and arrow and attack enemies from a distance without any guards alerting one another. It is quite fun, and gives the game a great sense of pace.

I like the game because it never tries to hold your hand, and it makes you want to figure out everything on your own. The game can get pretty intense with cutscenes and the ("run for your life") quick-time events. There's just enough of everything to keep this game interesting for the player.

The game also has multiplayer, but not many have been playing it. The single-player is a definite must-play for everyone who likes survival, shooting, and gorgeous women. I love this game, and I recommed you check it out, espcially when it goes on sale.

I never thought I'd hear myself say this but...killing cops and stealing ♥♥♥♥ is so much fun! never thought I would like a game like this, but I do like to play the occasional fps (such as rainbow 6, or borderlands). Payday is very challenging and yet at the same time so rewarding; when I finally complete a mission I've been struggling with I feel EPIC. It's very addictive, and the only negative thing I have to say is that I wish there was something to spend all your money on in game, like with Payday 2

When the first Assassin's Creed ended our modern day test subject Desmond Miles, a man with a powerful ancestral assassin's heritage, was still being held hostage by a corporation known as Abstergo Industries. It was during these modern day sequences that we were introduced to Dr. Warren Vidic, who heads up the program where the memories of ones ancestors are accessed through a device known as the Animus. It is here that Desmond Miles was forced to experience his ancestors memories from the time of the Third Crusade - An assassin known as Altair who would break the three tenants of his Assassin's code of conduct in pursuit of the Templar, Robert de Sable, who was said to be after a powerful artifact known as the Piece of Eden. Killing de Sable would reveal that the very man at the head of the Assassin's Brotherhood was a Templar himself and one who was already in possession of this powerful artifact. Confronting and finally killing his leader, the artifact would later reveal a holographic map showing Altair/Desmond where the other artifacts were hidden throughout the world, artifacts so powerful they could change the very destiny of man. Artifacts that Abstergo would kill to get their hands on. It would also be revealed that a former test subject had been leaving cryptic messages only Desmond could decode that would foretell the end of the world.

Assassin's Creed II wastes no time in picking up where the first left off. Having discovered that Dr. Vidics assistant Lucy Stillman is a mole, she eventually breaks Desmond out of Abstergo and ferries him off to a safe house where a group of her colleagues have developed an improved Animus. Desmond must once again enter the Animus and access his ancestral memories in the hope that more pieces of the artifact will be revealed before Abstergo can learn of them. This time around we are witness to late fifteenth century Florence as we are introduced to a young nobleman by the name of Ezio Auditore da Firenz who after witnessing the death of his father and brother - brought about by a corrupt official working for the Templar's - is then forced to flee to his Uncles villa with his life and that of his mother and sister hanging in the balance. It is here that Ezio is taught the ways of the Assassin's Creed by his uncle who eventually sets him on a course of revenge that includes killing a number of Templar figureheads all involved in the death of his father and brother with the trail finally leading all the way up to the top of the Vatican itself with Rodrigo Borges - otherwise known as Pope Alexander VI - a powerful man who will stop at nothing to get his hands on the remaining pieces of the artifact. Before doing away with Rodrigo, Ezio is inducted into a secret brotherhood of assassin's having amply proven his worth to the cause.

Historically recreating locations such as Venice, Tuscany and Florence the player is introduced to this wonderfully created digital world through main missions and side missions (Rocksteady could take a leaf out of Ubisoft Montreals book on how to create a living and breathing digital world that is a pleasure to explore and not a bore). The world we get to inhabit as our playground is a wonderful recreation of late fifteenth century Italy even going as far as introducing us to a lovable Leonardo Da Vinci who Ezio befriends early in the game and who exists to help decipher the many numerous codex's Ezio comes into contact with. Spanning a period of twenty years the game is a particularly massive one and to be honest this sometimes acts to the detriment of the actual game itself. Assassin's Creed II requires a lot of dedication and patience from its players to progress through and to be honest it starts to suffer near the end because of it. Whilst most certainly a massive improvement over the original in terms of scope, design and story telling it does come at a cost where the game gets so wrapped up in its own awesomeness that it starts to make itself rather redundant, sluggish and dare I say - boring - towards the end with missions that simply exist to pad out an already lengthy game. Just as you think the story is starting to wind down to its conclusion the game will throw another mammoth task your way that will lead into another mammoth task and this may try a very few many gamers patience and tolerance levels as it did mine. Having to find out that I needed to kill nine Lieutenants of the Templar Order towards the end of the game made me want to curse to the heavens after already inhabiting this world for a good 60+ hours. For all the frustration the game induces near its end, it's carried forward by a serpentine plot that is less over the top than the original but far more thrilling and engaging. The ending is a little bit of a disappointment when you finally have Rodrigo Borgias in your assassin's sights. After all the build up this encounter is rather dull and lifeless but thankfully is concluded by a spectacular sequence I will not reveal for those that have yet to complete the adventure.

Spending so much time in the shoes of Ezio what ultimately emerges is a gaming protagonist for the ages. Voiced impeccably by a first rate cast, Ezio is immediately likable and enduring and emerges as a fully rounded and developed character that one becomes incredibly vested in early on in the game. I can see why Ubisoft was a little reluctant to pack him away after the adventure concluded going as far as creating two fully fledged sequels continuing his adventures alone. Where as Altair was a one dimensional figure from the past and not particularly likable it's the exact opposite when it comes to Ezio who can be ruthless and cunning but also generous and incredibly warmhearted. Assassin's Creed II when looked at holistically is an impressive game indeed with the graphics looking quite spectacular for the most part although you can see the games original console limitations with muddy textures abound everywhere. Audio, however, from the clash of swords to the sweeping and epic soundtrack through to the incredible voice cast is all top notch throughout the entire game. Ultimately, Assassin's Creed II emerges as a game I loved for the most part where it not for all its irritating inconsistencies towards the end (those final missions were a test of endurance and patience and frankly I could have done without them as it employs one of my pet hates in gaming where more and more enemies are thrown at the player to try and give the illusion of a suddenly ramped up difficulty). This ended up being a slight killjoy rather than the thrill ride I was expecting for a conclusion.

But with that being said I still thoroughly enjoyed the majority of my time spent in Ezio's company and I look forward to continuing my adventures with him in the future, just hoping and praying slightly that his remaining two adventures are a much tighter affair than his first one.

Best destroyable enviornment open world game ever. You can destroy almost everything you see. And the physic effects are awesome and much better than Battlefield series. Multiple unique devastating weaponaries allow you to be the true badass. Furthermore, GTA-like game style is great and free for you to do anything you want on Mars. This is the best game in Red Faction series, even better than the successors.

:::::Intro:::::

Skyrim is a excellent RPG if your looking for quantity over quality. The game does not shine with impacting story as much as other more focused RPG's because of the freedom it offers. That doesn't stop it from being a great experience to most and memorable at that.

The main quest takes a couple of hours but there is 300 hours of side content to go through beside it. Which is the greatest amount of content any game I have seen has to offer. The mods only add more content on top of that and give it insane amount of longevity.

:::::Advantages and Disadvantages:::::

+ 300 Hours of Content
+ Perk system that is well thought out
+ Mod Philosophy that allows people to add more value to the game as a community
+ Replayability is extremely high due to mods and classes
+ Environments are done well for most part with minor blemishes
+ Many interactions with NPC's (thanks to companion mods)

- NPC's are not very animated/expressful as other smaller more focused RPG's
- Due to the freedom of the game the experience is not as consistently exciting
- Default UI is bad (Mod UI cures this)
- Level scaling should be bound to equipment for more consistent scaling.

:::::Community:::::

The Skyrim community has put alot of dedication and work into adding tons of value to this game. The steam workshop is also a nice simple addition to make mod installation easy and quick for people. This said, I would like to see more quality in game combat, although the perk system makes up for this.

:::::Mods Enchance:::::

Mods can provide you with a fresh experience and expand the longevity of the game. It improves the quality of the game with better graphics, environments, lore, quests, companions and other community crafted content.

Warning: Mods can conflict, try to figure out what's conflicting, some require DLC.

An MMOFPS, combined with RTS, how many games have something like that?
Not a lot I can tell you.

I am a 2 year old veteran, with well over 1000 hours of gameplay (probably closer to 2000). I have seen a lot of builds come and go, a lot of bugs come and go (and come, and come more and more).
Now, I could just say that this game is perfect and everyone should play because it is. But it's not.
So I want to talk about the good things and the bad things.

First things first: 1 word, 4 letters: BETA.

RTS:
The thing that really grabbed me was the RTS part. I play together with a group called 'AHQ' (Allied High Command). We've been playing together for a long time and truly became brothers in arms.

The first think we always do, is put our units (assault teams) on the front-line. The power to decide which battle has how many resources is very different from other games. The game lives by a standard: 'The war is balanced, but not every battle is'. Sometimes you have tanks, planes, APC's, snipers etc. Sometimes you don't have anything and losing the battle seems certain.

It is exactly those battles that make this game so interesting. The enemy bombards you with tanks and planes and all you have is an old rifle and your trusty bazooka. You cannot fight them in the open, if you are fighting an assault you've already lost. But in a defensive match, you can win with anything. It will be hard, but if you manage to win, or even lose but kill off a lot of tanks and planes, the enemy generals will cry their eyes out.

In the current stage, the RTS is lacking. It's very basic and the balancing-factors are not yet in place. This creates unbalanced wars (axis almost always win) which are not always fun. However, BETA. The RTS is not yet fully developed and a lot is to come. If you cannot stand losing all the wars, come back in a few months.

FPS:
The FPS is very fun, the amount of weapons is still small, and things like bipods on mg's are not yet developed. However the FPS feels pretty authentic (note: authentic does not equal realistic) with pretty big maps. There are a lot of vehicles to chose from, including tanks, planes, APC's, jeeps and even bikes.

Vehicles are not spawned every X time on the same spot. Players spawn them from a certain assault team. When a general sents in 18 light tanks, you can spawn 18 light tanks. If the general does not sent you tanks... no tanks for you. To be able to spawn a tank or something else, you need the right character. An infantry-man cannot spawn a tank, so you have to wait till a certain level before you can upgrade (make sure you always keep 1 character infantry, otherwise you are stuck in matchmaking forever). You can have as many characters as you want.

There are of course a lot of bugs and glitches in the FPS, every once in a while when you step off a bike, you fly 50 meters into the air and die when coming back to the ground.
The amount of maps is currently also small, with 2 skirmishes, and 4 assault/defence missions. More are in production though.

The weapon balance is also still an issue, the fact that the Allies have a better SMG while the axis have a better MG are there to stay. But you will notice some weapons are simply to strong.

I can highly recommend everyone to try it, and if you feel there are currently to many issue's, you can always come back in a few months when everything is a bit further advanced.

Garry's Mod is a sandbox game.

You have a wide variety of props from various Source games (depending on which you own), and multiple tools at your disposal. With these, you can build different contraptions, make vehicles, construct buildings, etc. As well as all the content included in the game, you can find a ton of mods online via the game's website or Steam Workshop. You can also make/script your own.

But the fun doesn't stop there. Multiplayer is a totally different thing entirely. You can find sandbox servers and build with up to hundreds of other players, or you could dive into one of the many user created game modes. From Hide and Seek to Role Playing, there is a huge variety of unique modes to play.

A few I would recommend are:

Trouble in Terrorist Town.
A group of 'innocent' terrorists must work with the detective(s) to discover who the traitors are and kill them. The traitors must take out the innocents, preferably without alerting anyone else. No one knows who is innocent and who is not, making for a sometimes tense experience.

Morbus.
A group of humans must hold out for a certain amount of time against aliens, or kill them all. There are two types of aliens: Brood aliens, and Swarm aliens. The Brood aliens get upgrades, and can transform into humans. Allowing them to get into groups and pick off people one by one. The Swarm aliens are what players spawn as when they die (assuming they were killed by another Swarm alien, or human). These have a melee and ranged attack, but no upgrades. Their role is to weaken the humans, and try to kill them.
The humans have needs. Every now and then you will have to either sleep, eat, shower, or pee. You cannot move during this time, so must be wary of those around you, in case they are brood aliens.
Overall one of the best game modes. A ton of fun, especially with friends.

DarkRP.
DarkRP is one of the more casual RP modes in Gmod. You spawn into the map as a citizen, and can choose a job to play as. From drug dealers to civil protection, there is a wide variety of roles to pick. You can go around earning money, commit crimes, buy and furnish your own house, etc. Great if you find the more serious RP servers to be boring.

Overall the game is absolutely brilliant. One of the very few that I can keep going back to and not get bored. I purchased the game around 2-3 days ago for 1.99euro, and have since put almost 24 hours into it.

One of the best purchases I have ever made.
