I actually liked playing this game. Now i come back after a year to discover that my last month of gameplay is just gone. Now i get to start all the way from lvl 31 again. That is what you call a waste of time. "It just works", sounds great. If only it were true. Turns out that instead of fixing problems, they break your save instead.

I was so exited to play this game again after so many years. I was able to play about 12 hours after it released and it was a disaster. Online play is as broken as is can be. Imagine getting to build on a gem like this to then butcher it like this. If i want to play single player, I will just play the originals from 20 years ago. Those actually work.

Such high hopes, just to apply for a refund after 19 minutes in game.

I have played Stronghold Crusader (HD) sinds 2004 or something and played it for i guess thousands of hours. Recently started playing it online again with friends using Game Ranger. That game is still a blast to play. But now i am looking at this and its just so bad. The game is €34,99 and u dont even get the entire game. Just dont buy it. The Stronghold Collection is a lot cheaper and you get a much better experiance.
