Lackluster gameplay, lackluster drawings, didn't even get hard.
would refund if I could.
Played it for the achievements only - took 34 minutes.
tsk tsk

Before you ask, this is definitely a souls game, so if you're not a fan of obscure NPC questlines, trial and error, and the first playthrough being the hardest because of your lack of metaknowledge, this game likely isn't for you.
With that being said, the game is much lore accessible than previous souls titles for a number of reasons:
1. Every time you hit a brick wall of a boss or area, you can usually always go out and explore the world to fight other bosses or make your way through dungeons. This will allow you to find new and better gear to upgrade your character, but also make you better at the game.
2. If you go on YouTube, you will almost every build being "OP", because in Elden Ring every build can be viable. If you feel underpowered you're likely just underleveled, or haven't explored enough to find the perfect weapons/spells/incantations/weapon arts to suit your playstyle. And should you find something which scales with different stats than you currently have, you can respec your character quite early in the game.
3. There is PLENTY to explore. I'm a completionist myself, and wanted as much as I could be bothered with on my first playthrough. I completed all main bosses, got all the spells, weapons and ashes I thought were cool, and explored a lot, and it took me about 100 hours to complete the game. And I still had plenty of unexplored areas and unfinished questlines.
4. If you've played any of the previous titles, the sense of scale and magnitude of everything in Elden Ring is way beyond what any of the previous titles have presented you with. Anor Londo may have walls more 1000 meters tall, but it pales in comparison to Leyndell The Royal Capital, not to mention other incredible vistas and legacy dungeons.
5. Everything great about the other souls titles is here. Intricate looping level design, power-stancing (dual-wielding), amazing bosses, exciting weapons and spells, and a world jam-packed with places to explore and enemies to fight.
6. Some very nice new features have been added to give you many more options in terms of how you approach combat. You can swap out your weapon scaling and special moves with ashes of war, which can be done while resting at a grace (bonfire). Your steed, Torrent, helps you travel The Lands Between faster and offers mounted combat and a double jump.
7. Level soft- and hard-caps have been raised way up. In previous souls titles, leveling beyond level 40 in a single stat was expensive compared to the amount of power/health/etc. you got per level, and beyond level 60 was almost stupid. In Elden Ring, however, the level cap is around 80. This means you can hard focus on a single stat, and have great scaling the entire way.
Elden Ring really wants you to feel like a god-slayer by the endgame, but will still manage to kick your ass to the very end.

Despite the stuttering when loading new areas, I have encountered very few glitches with my GTX 1070, Ryzen 7 1800X, and whatever stuttering I encountered never became a gameplay issue for me.
I highly recommend this game, as it is by far the best in the series. If you're looking to get into Souls, this is a great starting point as you will learn the basics of everything, and have plenty of options regardless of the build you choose (or decide to respec into later).

Early Access Review
Even just the tutorial level is amazing and has some really cool gameplay mechanics.
If you don't work as a team, you die, for sure.
Awesome game

So I heard about this game because I was introduced to one of the artists who made music for this game (Lorn), and after asking my friend what it was all about, he told me it was some fast-paced reaction and bullethell based game.
Now, I love bullethell games like Jamestown, some fights from undertale etc. and I love to play with fast reactions, like Super Hexagon or RFLEX.
So I went ahead, bought a controller and played this game all day. Finished it in about 4 hours time, but now I'm just hunting achievements. Nonetheless, the game is awesome.
While the playstyle may not vary much, the graphic aspect, the difficulty curve and the music all lived up to the price.
tl;dr if you're into bullethell and fast-paced games, you should definitely check out Furi.

A great fun little game with simple gameplay yet very challenging.
Catchy music and great as a timewaster as it is VERY fast to launch as well as close.
Definitely worth the few bucks it costs :3

Very hard, very fun!
Music is amazing, some camera issues here and there, but overall definitely more than worth the money
