Jurassic Park ruled the world in 1993 and had a game for every system. This has nearly all the 8 bit and 16 games with Sega making the games for themselves and the notorious movie game developers Oceans made the rest. In all of these you play Sam Neil himself Alan Grant...and in the Sega games you can also be a raptor! Games range between meh, the Ocean games, and great, you know the ones where you are a raptor. Emulation is decent with basic features like rewind. This

But no bonus features and only includes two nes games and 1 gameboy version, with a 29 price tag, wait for a sale.

I played Cosmic Void's previous games (Blood Nova and The Corruption Within) and had great contact with them, and also made written walkthroughs so i was eager to see this new game, however perhaps in life you shouldn't expect too much because it can only disappoint, and it did.

Honestely Cosmic Void's games never been lengthy, but atleast they had hard puzzles in which you could get stuck and this made it longer, but Twilight Oracle somehow seems to focus on "humor" rather then the puzzles, humor that are repeatedly about dirty socks, nude sunbathing i mean if that's your sort of humor, i mean in an average Monty Python sketch there is more humor then in the entire game.

Thus the puzzles are left to be desired, it's really so easy like you got an unpolished gem and sandpaper or a key and a door right in front of you, and such no brainer puzzles consist pretty much throughout the entire game, and therefor you will finish this rather quickly.

Only if you care about the achievements, there are some missable ones when you perform unusual actions, and perhaps that's even more fun to find those then the entire game itself, i am still missing 3 and love to hunt them down.

But i got a very bitter taste in my mouth and never doubted so much in my review what to give this since you can't give it an in between, but i will give it a positive rating BUT i certainly hope Cosmic Void can make their next games a bit longer and back to it's original harder puzzles.

A short (four hours) but very easy platformer (it's very forgiving if you die) and the levels themselves are short, so you can play this in short sessions when you got a little time to spare, but it also makes it very suitable for children.
But because of that it can also lean a little bit towards the boring side, as every level consist of grabbing a few items, and even some enemies to pass them through a scanner, and then head to the exit.
There aren't really boss fights in between even, and only one in the end, "the fat cat".

One annoying thing is while it's fun to play PVP/Co-op, noone in my friends list has this game, and that's not bad if not for it having 1 achievement for playing so, thus you can't get your 100% OCD fix.

I am also more of a cat lover, so next i want Underdog and be a cat fighting against dogs.

A rather short point and click adventure game but just not for it's price, i say yes, but only on a good sale (like 50% off), 5/10 as is, 7/10 on a sale.

Pros:
-A true point and click adventure game, with a nice art style.

Cons:
-Short versus the price, the puzzles are way too easy, you get like 2-3 screens at a time with not much items on you, so you often know what to do and you never really get stuck.
-Blend story, especially the end feels like a major letdown and almost rushed even.
-Biggest gripe NO SAVEGAME SYSTEM, and there are a few missable achievements, so if you miss one, that basically means you can start the whole game again.
-And in no way possible to resize the resolution to a smaller screen (which was very nice to tab back and forth while making a walkthrough).

Many have the tag metroidvania which most (atleast i) compare to Castlevania or Bloodstained, while often they fail.
But Curse of the Sea Rats succeeds in that, you got this big map, you got all sorts upgrades, level ups, everything a true metroid/ratvania should have, set in a nicely animated cartoony atmosphere.

I could not find myself in most of the negative reviews (and i have no idea if things have been altered since some played in a beta phase), the enemies are easy, sometimes too easy because you can either just duck and attack them or jump on them and attack them, most won't be able to hit you, i never had to block or parry anything.

As with Castlevania, in this game you can you also grind to the limit if you want to do so, be it orbs for upgrades or just leveling up and get more HP (both go hand in hand) combined with a few healing items, many to all bosses will be easy as 1,2,3.

The wind level with the ledges can be annoying (especially the birds) but if you got a beefed up character with enough hp, and good upgrades, you will eventually get past it with ease.
Also the controls were fine to me and i never experienced having to dash very much to such precision, i don't think this game deserves much of the critique (anymore).

Minor spoiler ahead, there are 4 endings, mind that you can unintentionally skip one needed for an achievement, and if you miss that you have to play the whole game over again.

I bought this, well because i like bears... Anyway i wasn't expecting much, and you shouldn't either.
As many pointed already, this platformer is short, till about 25-30 minutes, you just move right and left (to go back for missions) and jump a bit, while collecting presents (watch out 1 is hidden in a tree).
After you have finished the game, you get access to a dog which you can ride, to make you move a lot faster, and make it very easy to get the finish the game within 18 minutes achievement.

But however, this is definitely not worth 6 euro, maybe 3 is even too expensive (1-2 euro would be fairer), but because it has a bear or that this would be a nice game especially for kids to play near christmas, i give it a 7/10.

An escape room type of game, the game is very short (2 layers of floor), it's an okay game for it's price. However, it can be a bit buggy sometimes (stuck on the loading screen, yes it has a loading screen), items not always registering propely.
But the absolute most frustrating part is taking photo's (there is an achievement for it) but some photo's require you to take one before solving the puzzle, else you have to start the whole game over, that happened to me several times even with a walkthrough.

This is one of those not positive, not negative, but a middle review, but since you have to pick,
i give it a bare thumbs up. 6/10.

Very nice platformer i keep coming back to, you just want to do one more level each time, it's challenging but not extremely hard.
It's very quick and easy to just complete the levels, but the time trials and collecting everything (for the achievements) was/is a lot tougher, now at 93% i was completely stuck at 3-4 levels, where in the time trials i didn't even came close.

Until i looked up a guide and it seems there is an invincible/unlimited jump cheat build right in the game, and i used it because those levels were near impossible, but also found it a bit of a bummer thinking i did so many levels on my own, when that was just there all that time, and the achievements also became a bit meaningless that way.

Apparently there is a sequel coming up, and i hope those cheats aren't in there anymore, but at the same time the time trials becoming a bit more fair on all levels.

If you play without cheats and go for the achievements by yourself, you get a lot of hours worth your money.

Don't mind my playing hours in this case, it has plenty, with 16 levels! I played the itch.io version, and played over 14-16 hours i think easily (probably more).
Most devs would have easily asked double the money for the amount of gameplay you will get.
If you are familiar with the other Goblins games you won't get disappointed (heck i even enjoyed the somewhat underrated part 4, and offcourse the famous Woodruff, which i hope Pierre can still manage to get here on Steam or GOG eventually).
And most of all another sequel!

I don't say this quickly, but don't even wait on a discount, but get this even now, you won't get disappointed.

In a speedrun you could basically beat this game in just 4 minutes! However most likely something you not gonna reach.
But then again this game is cheap, so even for that short amount of time, you can't blame it's game length.

It's a precision platformer, and every time you get an upgrade, making you progress further, but you will die a lot, in fact i did 1100 times, and i struggled in the end.
I don't know about the youtube clips if back then the game was different, bugged or they cheated because some just seem to fly across the rooms or float down when there is no wind there.

Anyway for this price you get a nice rage inducing precision platformer.
