Zoh Shia High Rank is pretty much exactly what this game needed, it is an extremely welcome change, however i do wish the gear was a bit better to compensate for the hike in difficulty, perhaps rarity 9 instead of rarity 8
The new gathering hub is pretty hype however i cannot fathom why you cannot rest at the gathering hub
Performance has gotten better and Texture Pop-in has been for the most part solved
if the game keeps up correcting it's mistakes and adding great content with every update Wilds has the opportunity to become the best MH game yet, i'm looking forward to it

Great game, 100%'d it in about a week and i'm currently HR210, i really enjoy a lot of the combat changes, the addition of focus mode and new movesets/combo extenders across the board, my main gripe would be that ALL wounds stagger monsters, personally i think only tempered wounds should stagger a monster, in it's current state if you try hard enough, outside of a monster with CC immunity like Jin Dahaad moving zones, monsters can be stunlocked the entire fight, i think dialing back on the amount of CC in the game would make it amazing.

Despite my gripe with wounds that wouldn't be enough to warrant a negative review, my main reason for choosing not to recommend Wilds is the price tag attached to it and the lack of optimization, i can play the game at 1440p Max settings at with 1% lows of high 70's, low 80's and an average of around ~100-110fps, however the texture pop in, poor implementation of features like DLSS and FSR (not even including the newest version) and the botched Direct Storage DLL, i simply cannot recommend someone spend a minimum of 70USD to play Wilds, despite how much fun i had with it.

the golden bass doesn't exist, 10/10

Cute little incremental game, 100%'d it in ~6 hours, gets a bit repetitive towards the end when working towards Lab progress but other than that solid game, 8/10

So far i've really enjoyed playing Hades 2
I'm writing this review with 15 hours in the game and having beaten Chronos, the new gods have been a joy to explore as well as the changes made to existing gods, the soundtrack is amazing as to be expected considering hades 1
The graphic design of the characters never ceases to amaze and the entire game being voice acted is a very nice pleasantry when going through all the unique dialogue characters have to offer.

Pets - i wish pets had a higher base charge to their tools and the resting system was explained a bit

Leveling Grasp - the scaling is very aggressive in terms of cost, my main suggestion would be to have it not swap to giving +1 grasp instead of 2 and keep the current cost scaling

Boons - a majority of boons feel amazing and a lot of the gods seem balanced, but due to the random nature of Artemis boons i feel they should be more powerful to account for that, Hermes feels like a copy paste of the first game for the most part and is kinda underwhelming, same with Aphrodite, whereas gods like Demeter, Hestia, Poseidon, and Zeus are pretty much always amazing in what they can provide no matter the build or weapon

Crops - i feel it should give three plots per garden upgrade instead of 2, once you get access to the spade you collect so many seeds within a couple of runs that the earlierish game upgrades for the garden just can't chew through it

Bosses - so far i've only ventured into the underworld, i have the overworld unlocked with the curse removal incantation already done but i haven't done an actual run up there, the underworld bosses feel rather fun, i enjoy *almost* all of them, the exception being Chronos which i can't place my finger on why, idk it just feels a bit gimmicky, I do appreciate that you aren't limited to getting a resource from a boss once per weapon like in Hades 1, the boss will always drop the same resource no matter if it's your first or millionth clear, which i find to be an amazing change compared to the first game

8/10 game so far, i really enjoy it, it has a lot of potential, and i still have content to explore, i'll likely update this review once 1.0 comes out, thank you supergiant for this sequel, i look forward to future updates!

This game is fun to play and is something that is worth the money i've put into it so far. this game is different from the last, and i find it unfair to the devs to expect them to make the same game twice and then be upset when they hold a new idea and take of their own universe and how players will interact with it. this game has it's bugs and it has it's rough edges. but it just released and it works, overall, it works, it's fun, i can play through the entire game without anything game-breaking. new content and bug fixes can be applied but the overall state of it currently is alright. it's not industry-changing, but it's alright, it's fun

8/10 - i'm looking forward to future updates, and i believe this game down the line would benefit greatly from steam workshop or a thriving modding community.
