can't wait for nexus system

i would recommend this game, just not this version of it. had to upgrade my pc to windows 10 after a dead psu and no matter what i try i can't get this game to play anymore, ive tried xliveless, i've tried the downgrade and several fresh installs, either i get in and just get a black screen or i get stuck in a "application already running" loop when the social club opens

play this on xbox or pirate it. this version is garbage

Might be the 2nd best game in the series, really enjoyed this one

Lighting graphics and animations are a huge improvement, characters are just as good as the first game aswell.

Crazy twist hat i only predicted just before it happened. wish the last two episodes were longer, felt like they flew past

so far so good, its like penguins of madagascar simulator...... on a budget

what a strange but pleasant experience, firstly the art style is fantastic, it's cartoony enough to not be taken seriously but so much detail and things to look at when wandering around.

characters at first are kind of dull but once you jump through a few memories and get talking become very likeable, if you liked the first life is strange but less so with LIS:BTS and LIS2 you will still enjoy this game.

it doesn't have the "charm" of the original life is strange (think that has alot due to the setting and lighting and more movie like narration) but the characters are just as strong.

wish they dragged the story over 5 eps not just 3, there are still a few questions i would like to have been answered

whats the point in having "keybinds" in control settings if you can't change half of them or some keys aren't shown

eg: who the hell thought backspace was a good pick for "menu" 99% of other games is esc and that keybinding isn't even shown in the list of keys

also why can you only assign one key per action, what if i want wasd and arrows to drive? nope can't do that either

graphically the game is great and runs smooth, dumb you can't turn off racing lines and radio either

even from the tutorial and menus it is way more polished than skater xl
not a fan of the triggers being used as left and right turn (used to the skate games on console)
but the controls make sense after a few minutes of gameplay.

looking forward to seeing where this game goes

worth it this time

i bought the first pass and then passed on the following two since there were only 3-4 items i liked in each (wish i got the backflip taunt but oh well)

this pass is best value one so far imho most of the skins are nice, a little sad the red leather jacket leaked earlier (still in gamefiles btw) never released as part of this yet it is on xbox and ps4 as a bundle.

Before you buy this play the original life is strange first.

i didn't know what to expect going into this one since its a prequel to life is strange (which i adored)
i'm not going to spoil anything about either game in this review but after playing through this game on pc then buying collectors edition for xbox i can highly recommend this one.

for best experience don't watch walkthroughs/or guides and make natural choices

*i've bought this game twice now (pc and xbox) and currently tracking down the collector edition just for the artbook*

My Review:

Normally not the type of game i would play let alone buy

This game is a must play i think, the characters are well done to the point you get so invested that making important choices that alter how the game flows/ends can be very difficult.

this game is probably in my top 3/5 of all time up there with mirrors edge and rdr2 for comparison, the story stays with you.

if you want to buy the game i beg you not to read guides/walkthroughs so your experience is as good as it can be (natural choices). after you complete this i highly recommend buying before the storm (prequel)
