Actually a good game. For some reason it lagged for me every time I moved, but a recent OS reinstall solved all issues completely.

Cities Skylines lite but with MORE stuff

I've played this game on mobile, and I saw the Steam release, I was looking for a cool and lightweight city builder so I said why not.
It's basically the mobile version (duh) but with all DLC unlocked and more stuff added like bigger worlds and whatnot, haven't explored the game that deeply yet.
Looks quite a bit different on a bigger screen, I've never noticed that the font is pixelated on purpose. Don't know if I like it as it doesn't quite look right, but it'll grow on me.
Edit: It's not pixelated anymore. I think this was a bug lol

I don't want to write a negative review but this also isn't that positive of a review.
There is a stereotype about Unity games and their quality, and when you first boot up the game and see the splash, it doesn't fill you with the greatest excitement ever. Regardless, I ignored this because not everyone wants to use other engines or has the money to purchase a license, which is understandable (though you really shouldn't use Unity, they've got some really shady practices)
Overall, this game is okay. The gameplay is as you'd expect, a city builder. This isn't reinventing the wheel but it also doesn't feel super stale.
The thing that I noticed right away was the UI, which I quite like. It's thematic, but not too obnoxious, and it's generally unintrusive. The building models are also neat and feel lively.
One pretty huge problem though is that there are misspelled strings. Too many for my liking. This itself is not a game breaker but it just shows that the game might not be polished enough. This flaw only escalated when in game, with the barely understandable tooltips, even at the very beginning, with the tutorial asking me to build something that has to have another thing already built, then telling me to build the required thing, if that makes sense. Maybe I'm just a bit dense but I'm afraid I am not alone in this.
Also, as a lower-end player, this game is laggy, and I mean laggy. Maybe not Cyberpunk at 4K laggy, but it doesn't run well, as well as it should in my opinion. Yes, my 1050 Ti is outdated by today's standards, but a lot of people still play on these cards, and it's a worth consideration when creating a game. I wouldn't want to say that I'd optimize this game better as this could just be a game engine issue.
Overall, one thing that came to mind is that this feels like a mobile game. It's generally friendly but less polished and a bit... stiff? in some places. Overall I'd give it a 6/10, and sorry, but I'm refunding it. No hard feelings, and good luck to the developer on their future endeavours, I'm just a bit low on cash.
