Love this game, but the changes to 1896 was poorly planned out. I can't in good faith recommend this game until these are fixed. Crytek fix your ♥♥♥♥

Should've been more Castlevania and less Bloodborne.

The Shadow kills the vibe. I just tried to get it stuck behind doors so I could ignore it. When I saw the update the dev had made the monster harder I realized this wasn't for me.

Like other reviews mentioned this is going to be a Yes, but there isn't much content. It's roughly $20 and you get a few hours of content currently. It's very good content, and I have nothing but faith that the devs will be bringing more, but there's just not a lot currently.

A very stylistic game. The game play isn't much to write home about, but the story is interesting, and I'm excited to see what this dev does in the future.

The new combat is refreshing, and Kasuga is an amazing character. This might be my favorite game in the series.

One of my favorite games

Partially on me, didn't realize it was text-based when I bought it. Not the worst, but it definitely leaves a lot to be desired. I felt that sometimes the results were obvious but without a list of known commands or something, guiding the person you're texting becomes difficult, and made the game not fun for me.
