The first two Fallout games will always have a special place in my heart.

$50 for a game that came out on PS3 is highway robbery, but it is a solid port that works great so it's up to you to buy it full price or wait for a sale.

I never touched the Steam version of Doom simply because GZDoom and other source ports existed, while the Steam version was alright I guess. This new Doom + Doom II source port is a complete overhaul.

New features include:
- An entirely new game engine
- Cross-play between PC and Console
- A dedicated server browser (which at the time of writing this is fairly friggin populated)
- Loads of modern customization options
- A completely remastered soundtrack which can be enabled or disabled if you so choose
- Community mods dating back 20+ years that can be installed in-game

Worth it.

I can't say anything that hasn't already been said. It's a classic, and yes it still holds up today. If you're looking to buy this to get ready for Heart of Chornobyl, then there is no better starting point to get initiated into the series than CoP... or SoC. It's really up to you but they're both worth every cent.

It has its flaws with really dumb AI and is definitely a work in progress but it has the tank commander seal of approval as far as drinking and tanking at home goes.

I've played this much longer on console, but it's great. Get it my guy what are you waiting for?
