CS:GO Review
If you're into competitive shooters you don't want any fluff, CS:GO is as pure of a shooter as you can get - there aren't really any mechanics that differentiate each player besides your raw aim, communication, and teamwork. The game has a lively professional scene that has filled arenas year after year.

If you're more into fun with your friends, CS:GO also caters to that demographic. There are hundreds if not thousands of community-run servers with a wide variety of community-created gamemodes, something not many other games offer.

CS:GO is an incredibly rewarding experience for its players. The gameplay has remained the same for the past twenty years. That's not a bad thing, though - it doesn't need to change. If you want a consistently pure tactical shooter, this might be for you.

Although Thomas Was Alone may look simple and boring, it has engaging gameplay and has one of the best stories I have ever had in a video game. The narrator gives a wide array of emotions that place you in the environment of the characters, who are introduced slowly in the game's ten chapters. The platforming can be frustrating at times, but is very rewarding when you finish. Overall, Thomas Was Alone is one of the greatest games that I have played over a short period of time.

The Angry Video Game Nerd is one of my favorite online shows, and I was extremely excited when ScrewAttack announced AVGNA. AVGNA is a solid platforming game that contains references to AVGN and other movies, yet still stays true to the series with levels based on horrible games that he's reviewed. It's a great addition to Steam, and is a must buy for any Nerd fan.
