If I ever do just that, it wont be to accomodate to the EGS, I dont even know if the mod works for that version, but rather to have a mirror por X mod. Then again, I dont even know which mod are you talking about, lol, you say "your mod" but I have several....I assume its either CAR or Da Rules but I may be wrong.
thats what my friend request is about
As of now tho, theres no mod or tool to make a preset dungeon that I know of, the closest you can get is making the actual rooms with the room editor or basement renovator and then making a mod that forces them to spawn....but its easier said than done. With da rules, you could theoretically do it if you clear the rooms on enter and spawn the grids and stuff in a formation....but it's tricky and inconvenient af.
So, my question is, is it possible to save a room layout in a file and then upload that file somewhere people could download it and play through a little Isaac puzzle? Maybe even multiple rooms? I'm not familiar with how maps are made, so it might be easier or harder to save and upload an entire custom floor.
If this isn't possible, do you have a recommendation for a mod/software that would work? I assume someone as talented as you has a lot of knowledge on creating custom Isaac stuff.
Also, just an update on the Dad's Home+ challenge, it worked great! And then Fiend Folio came out for repentance the next day, which included the challenge.
Thank you!
All monsters ---on ded----> add to list (allow repeated)
Room enter ----> spawn list (all 0)
should work
However, after several days of trying, I haven't been able to. I feel like lists is something I'm not taking appropriate advantage of, but I've tried making a list of all enemies in a room (that were there when you entered) and then spawning the list when you enter a room, but it just picks one monster from the list.
I've tried repeating the 'add monster from list' command one time per monster killed, but it still picks a random name from the list, instead of choosing all the names from the list in order. What do I do?
I then tried to use labels to do this, but doing 'Enter room' ---> 'Label' doesn't spawn labeled objects, but rather label something. How do I fix? Thank you.
I had a possible bug I wanted to post about Agnis
In the meantime, Instead of using the "shoot in players direction" modifier, you can just spawn bullets with a label modif and then do the rest in separate rules, like:
Fly--------move------>bullet[label A]
Label A--------------->Push towards Player
Label A--------------->Color
Another way, for an easier way, would be to tabel bullets in a very small radius right after you spawn them, this howerver could result in other bullets going trough you enemy and getting mislabeled but the odds would be pretty low if you do it right.
my conclusion is that it would only be possible to chain commands like this if i were able to have multiple modifiers on one object.
could this be a possiblity for the next update. i would gladly donate to patreon or something for this feature alone.
if it is possible please teach me how. i just wanna make a fly that shoots 4 coloured projectiles in the players direction on walking as a test for chaining stuff.

Yeah I also thought of this item called "Like a boss", that temp turns the player into a boss, or uses a boss special attack, likeCage earthquake jump, or Mega Maw's fire..
I'm leaning towards turning yourself into monsters more than anything else tho, if nobody else does an item/character based around that I may do it someday.
-Constantly not taking damage or quickly killing certain enemy types would make the player better at killing those typees overr time.
-or you get more exp if you stand very close to the enemy and for how long you do it. Reorresents isaac closing learning from and mimicking the enemy.
Bioshock 2?
-Yeah, like a ctive item that records and enemy on camera. You can only choose one on use. If you reccords that enemy enough, you learn how to splice and mimick their powers.
