...Gonna keep an eye on this full game.

I saw several youtubers play this, I'm not into many horror games since a lot of them out there are all about loud jumpscares and running from monsters and stuff. I haven't even bothered looking at the Backrooms videos that this game is based on, but the idea of being trapped in these bizarre labyrinths of office rooms, pools, and malls just...interest me. Of all the Backrooms games I've seen on here, I think this one is the best, yeah multiplayer could be fun, but being alone makes everything creepier. The other thing is the monster, it never kills you but it's still startling to see it off in the distance for a split-second.

Anyways, after watching youtubers and being like "Wait, go this way! Nuuuu! I wanna see more!!" and seeing that this is free and is just a demo for a full game, I decided to play it myself. Only thing that bothered me is the first area, maybe it's too massive...? I got lost for a long time and kept running into circles apparently, lol

That all said, it's not perfect, has performance issues, and apparently doesn't work on Steam Deck, but it is just a demo. Hopefully this full game fixes all of this.

Saw people talk about this game a couple of times on their Youtube channels, and I've even seen clips of it on Twitter. I kinda figured it would be a game that I'd get very bored with it very quickly. But was interested in it because of how chaotic it gets, been playing for a few hours now, still not bored yet, so...yeah. lol

...I hate these types of games, why do I keep playing them?

...Okay, yeah...normally I don't buy or play hentai/adults-only based stuff. But I heard that this was basically the ultimate anime girl creator and that you could recreate nearly any anime girl you want, especially with mods. Which is what got me curious, and kinda skeptical because one of my favorite girls is a minor character with a weird hairstyle (profile pic) from School Rumble. I eventually bought this when it went on sale, so yeah...

Fast-forward a few days, and...yeah...she's not perfect but I can see how this is the ultimate anime girl maker. You pretty much have control over everything when it comes to customizing their bodies. Honestly, screw the Story mode and the...erm...*coughs*..."Do stuff to your girl" mode, the creator is the main thing that you want. That and the CharaStudio thing, which isn't perfect and is irritating to control sometimes but it's still fun and you can pretty much create any scene you want.

So yeah, if you just want the creator and mess with the characters in Studio, get it...NAO!....Okay not now, but whenever it goes on sale, because I still feel like $60 is a bit much. Also, yeah I did try the sex mode...it's stupid, and boring. lol

I rarely review games...but I might as well do it for a freakin' Monster Hunter game. This game ain't perfect, and it's not my favorite (still 4U), but even with the flaws I still enjoy it.

I'll just go ahead and point out the stuff that bugs me the most...

1. Online, ALWAYS, ONLINE. Why? What the hell? I rarely play these games online, so why do I HAVE TO BE ONLINE WHEN SOLOING A QUEST? Not only that, but because it's always online, I can no longer pause a game mid-quest when alone.

2. The maps, they're fine, but...way too large...I'm okay with the loading screens finally being gone, but brings in a new issue-...

3. Monster AI, not only are they less aggresive, but...STOP RUNNING AWAY! Might as well call this Monster Hunter: Chasing Simulator. At least with the older games they stayed in the area and kept fighting. The issue is much worse in Coral Highlands, so much climbing...

4. The music...it's just....there.

5. Difficulty, I'm still in low rank, but I still heard that the game is very easy compared to other games. Then again they were also expecting this game to have G-Rank, lol. So far I haven't failed a quest at all, and the monsters die way too quickly sometimes. As for Tempered monsters, from what I've seen, aren't they just a more boring version of Hyper monsters? Ugh, Frenzied monsters may have not been perfect, but at least they were interesting. Hyper and Tempered monsters just seem like the same exact monster with higher attack. At least with Frenzied/Apex changed things up with inflicting the virus and Apex changing their movesets, hell, Apex Zinogre could even paralyze you. (that one caught me off-guard back then, lol)

Bonus: The Raths...they don't sound like the Raths anymore...wtf? They just sound like...generic monsters. Barroth doesn't even do his normal roar, he just...roars...Actually, the freakin' monsters roar too much, and they're all boring! Uragaan's new counterpart even does the same boring roar, instead of the roar that's followed by two jaw slams. At least Diablos still has his roar.

I'll still recommend this game obviously, but if you're wanting a more action-packed MH game then go for Generations Ultimate, at least that one has a giant robot. (or just get 4U, since that one was basically a prototype for World)

I don't usually do reviews, because I suck at them.

Is Undertale a highly overrated game? Yes, quite...I was sick of seeing it everywhere on the internet. Does that mean this is a very bad game? Hellz no, I was still interested in the game even though I was tired of it seeing it everywhere. Main reason I like this game is because it reminds me of Earthbound quite a bit, also unique battle system.

If you like Earthbound, give this game a shot.
