Remember when you were a kid and wanted to grow up to be an astronaut travelling to weird planets exploring ancient ruins to uncover the secrets of a long gone alien civilization while casually dealing with black holes, quantum physics and time travel in your adventures? That wasn't just me, right?

This game allows you live out this fantasy. Yes, it's that great.

The gameplay mainly consists of piecing together clues to unravel the mystery of what's going on and trying to figure how to get yourself into some seemingly impossible to get into places. Also there's a lot of piloting your spacecraft.

It's not perfect though. Depending on your luck and disposition you might wander aimlessly not knowing what to do for extended periods of time. Or you might have problems with the precision required in some parts or the insta-death environmental hazards.

But it's definitely worth it to look past these small flaws so you can experience a sense of discovery and exploration unparalleled in the history of gaming.

This was pretty cool. I played this cooperatively with another person: best way to play any hard puzzle/mystery game in my opinion.

It was mostly a very worthwhile experience. Its smart gameplay and story makes you really feel like a investigator, something that can't be said about the vast majority of mystery games. I loved the art style. Special mention goes to the voice acting and music, they both complement the game nicely.

The only problem is that the thinking required is a bit stiff and dry. The times you are required to think outside the box or take into account some new surprising piece of information are not so many. For the most part it comes down to rank and nationality (there are only a couple of ways of determining each) followed by a process of elimination.

All in all, an incredibly powerful and sentimental experience.

I really liked: the choices, the humour, the deconsctuction, the inventiveness of the bullet hell combat, the music, all the raw emotion that pours out of the game. However, it's not without its flaws: the level design is bad and contributes to making the world feel extremely gamey and undeveloped. The writing sometimes falls short of expectations. The bullet hell elements are lacking in execution with bad controls and annoying patterns.

It's a good game. Try it.
