Movement feels way too clunky. As a movement shooter, you should get that right. But the transition from being in the air and starting a wall run feels like a magnet. If I wall run on round objects, I just jitter my way through the corner.

Good visuals but bad gameplay. Wait for Project Unite and a good sale if you really want to play this game.

Playing this game since Alpha stage (over 2 years). If I add my hours from the alpha, I have over 1k hours. I really love this game, but the devs went from communicative and actually responding to feedback and doing what the community wants. To not communicating for several months, removing bhop or how they call it "toned down due to an unfair advantage" while it didn't give you an unfair advantage and lastly buffing the most hated and already too OP guns, the shotguns. After lying to us, not responding to feedback, just going radio silent and not supporting the core fan base, I (and other dedicated players) came to the conclusion to give a negative review.

-Telling us can't work on certain issues about the game because they don't have the time and man power just to release more gun inspect animations is outrageous....
-After not being communicative, we get the informative patch note "Matchmaking and server technical improvements." (they added new servers that have worse performance and make the game very unenjoyable.)
-Discord Server is run by 2 or 3 mods that actually do their job, and the rest are just some 16 year olds abusing their power and pulling some 2 IQ stuff and muting you if you have something against them. Making it impossible to leave feedback about the game because only the feedback they like comes through.
Lies they tell us:
-Cant add a FOV slider, even if there is one in the game, just not accessible in the menu. (Edit: Its added now but they had to release multiple patches to make it work and stop people from looking through walls)
-Can't add DLSS: they can't add Nvidia tech because of engine limitations while having Nvidia Reflex in the game (DLSS is coming next update)
-They oriented themselves on Tournaments for the ranked mode just to not change anything and making public matches with a score at the end and later telling us it was a miscommunication to tell us that they oriented themselves on Tournaments.

-They rise a PVP community, and now they just want to do their own thing by making the game PVE heavy and letting the PVP community fall.


I thank the devs for giving us the game while sitting in the middle of a war, they went through a lot. But this is not how you treat your community. Especially someone who was looking away from the flaws and supporting it for this long. Hope they find their way again, but if not, I hope they shut down the game soon before they destroy the game even more.

playing it since the alpha playtest and i love it. Yes, it is like Tarkov but not a rip off in my oppininon because it does a lot of things differently. And for Tarkov you need more play time to learn the mechanics because its more realistic than The Cycle. All in all its a fun more casual version of Tarkov and its free.
