it's good

One of the best games that I've played recently. Was my first roguelike that I've played and I picked it up pretty quickly. It's incredibly satisfying each time you start a new run early on, it'll be hard at first, but you can feel yourself getting better after each new attempt. Once you complete the game however is when the real game actually begins in terms of content. Another aspect of this game that's incredible aside from the gameplay is the character design and art style in the game as a whole. Each character has hundreds of lines of dialogue that will be different each time you interact with them. Leveling each relationship to the max is a long but rewarding process, gaining access to new chitonic companions that can further assist you in your runs while trying to complete various prophecies and reach the surface. Overall I'd give this game a 9.5/10 and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Campaign:
Apart from the multiplayer this game is perfect. It takes everything that you enjoyed about DOOM 2016 and removed all the bad parts. It incorporates such an active playstyle where you have to constantly manage armour, ammo, and health but the way it's done is flawless and doesn't slow down gameplay whatsoever. This combined with the verticallity and platforming makes it so there's always going to be something you're doing in this game and it feels great. Personally I'd give the campaign a 9/10, its not flawless, but its damn near it.

Multiplayer:
The multiplayer for this game only exists to run off of the high you get after beating the campaign, it's a cool concept but it gets dull incredibly quickly. I personally think that instead of a 2v1 demons vs slayer shootout, that an arena shooter would have been a much better fit for this game. All the weapons you have to cycle through would have made that absolutely incredible. It's certainly not the worst multiplayer I've ever played, but its a little below my expectations for this game. Multiplayer 6/10.

Went beyond my expectatons for any anime game. Even if you've never played something like this game before, I highly reccomend that you give it a try.

Very fun game. Wether you like playing with friends or hopping on random servers and messing around with randoms this is the game for you!
