Least fun I've ever had playing a Devolver game
- Player hitboxes feel slightly off
- Patron achievement didn't unlock on Steam despite it popping in game.
- Game should have called Enter The Dodgeon for how reliant you are on dodging

Played on a free weekend. You should play it on a free weekend.

There must've been a game engine change because I don't remember DL1 being this buggy/bad.

Even at 50% off, I still wouldn't recommend this game ($40 for Reloaded). Right now it costs $80 CAD for the Ultimate package. $20 for it all is much more reasonable.

There are much better games in this genre. This one in particular had an awful ending, both when you have the planks or don't.

Great game, excellent Linux support out of the box. Game was completely stable. I use Arch at max graphics, with high-refresh on 2k resolution, btw.

There (still, 2014??) exists a bug in TF2 main menu, where, if your items exceed your backpack limit, and you enter your backpack, the game breaks, requiring a restart.

Re-joining a game through a friend playing in the same TF2 game lobby is not sufficient to leave the backpack (via Steam friends > right-click > join game). Also running `retry` in console is not sufficient to leave this backpack bug.

The oldest bug I was able to track it back to was marked Closed (stack issue, 2014).

The above ticket might be a completely different code path but many others have this same issue. This issue occurs on at least Windows and Linux.

GREAT Early Access game however.. the game isn’t stable yet.

It randomly crashes on Linux and SteamOS on the Steam Deck. It’s occurred over 5 times in my 27 hr play time. 3 of those times were at 0:00 on boss-entry.

Obviously, this would be a positive review if a patch were pushed to prevent the game from crashing on Linux. As it stands now you might become frustrated at losing a great run and up to 30 mins of your time.
(Tip: deposit your new equipment to the well when possible to at least save your found equipment, though you will lose all the gold collected)

I’ve not experienced a crash after the boss actually enters at 0:00, but it is known to occur much earlier as well.

Looking forward to changing this review to positive.

Little thought or consideration for accessibility causing game to be awkward for some players and play styles (e.g. no support for WASD movement, no layout options or key remapping)

Game character pacing feels slow and encumbered, generally making the game feel like a slow painful dying experience like what is experienced every day in Canada.

Not for me, but if you manually rebind almost all gamekeys it would make for a better experience.

The positive reviews for this game make me question the initial motivations for why others have purchased then praised this game, err this TIT-le (title).
