The "real" Doom 3 in a 2D engine. Doom64Ex is a good open source alternative if you really want freelook and jump, but this version is more accurate and priced very fairly. Do a quick mod to add the red crosses back in though, otherwise it's legitimately hard to see health packs

Wonderful arena shooter with distinct differences in heroes, and two awesome guest characters, needs more players though. Wait times can be long, a casual server browser/training mode would be appreciated even if just to have practice while waiting for ladder games.

EDIT 2022: It's dead, Jim. (pure lack of players. SERVER BROWSER WOULD HELP.)

Pros:
Really fun, Tekken finally on PC
Has controller vibration (surprising rarity in fighting games now)
Great guest characters that bring stupid new gimmicks to Tekken
Good anti-lag
Tons of players online

Cons:
Have to pay for many of the old characters that were free in T6 or TTT2, after Harada explicitly said any returning characters wouldn't be Paid DLC
No Roger Jr/Alex (Why?!?)
Game seems to be getting more gimmicky/easy every update
Questionable balance (Heihachi needs buffs, some new chars seem too good, also DLC chars in general seem better than stock chars)
Stages not as good as T6 or TTT2, Tekken 4 still had best stages and they need to go back to those DOA3-4 style stages
Quite bad music after great previous installments (Geese theme is legit though)

Really fun simulation for arcade lovers (especially since those are scarce in pandemic times) but it isn't optimized very well at all, and will tax up your PC if you have an older one like me. Looking forward to survival mode or something to make money scarcer, and wish the coin pusher and ball drop physics were a bit better.

Good platforming and puzzle solving reminiscent of portal. The combat is a really bad at the start though (you can get multiple times rapidly like bad old NES games), and the game wears it's Reddit ideologies on it's sleeves and tries to alienate some audiences (pointless cringy Christianity/Trump references) for no reason, not what you'd expect to see in what looks like a kids game. Get it on a sale

Can't pick up weapons in Halo 1 Campaign unless you update to Windows 10. No hope for rest of the collection, even though store page says it supports W7.
EDIT: They fixed this, the Halo Reach campaign is still borked though and I feel the quality of the ports of H1 and H2 still aren't as good as the original Gearbox H1, Project Cartographer and El Dewrito. It's a good effort but overpriced

EDIT: Now they're removing innocuous police cars. Ridiculous and unnacceptable, yet unrefundable. Expect games to do this more going forward and have no recourse or modding ability.

Pretty damn good campaign (need to use controller on some vehicle section, sensitivity is weird with mouse)
Pretty fun multi if you can find a game
Get it on the cheaper side tho
