UI is terrible..... but you know... not so many alternatives around.

Loot Rascals is a gem in the INDIE scenario.

On several aspects on its gameplay, it reminds me Binding of Isaac.
You control a character in a random seed generated map, and your objective is to escape from there, warping to different zones.
In these maps you could encounter different enemies that you could fight with a particular combat mechanic (well explained in the game) to obtain some loot, that consists in some random cards that improve your ATK/DEF or that gives you unique abilities.
To move in another exagon on the map, you use 1 turn. In-fact, this is a kinda turn-based game with turns that affects day and night, and combat-style of enemies.

Strategy is everything in this game, since if you wait (move for too many turns) too much in a single zone, stronger enemies could spawn in the map, trying to stop and kill you.

It could be very challenging, since is very hard to master, but incredibly fun and addictive.

You can have this game today for 1$ (with other games) on Humble Bundle.

Extremely recomended!

I decided to change my review since the devs are starting to increase dramatically the creation of paid dlcs, which is something I really don't like of a game development.... it's even worse then the Paradox style.

Just to add a bit of details on why I wrote this, just imagine they removed the multiplayer part from the game, to sell it as DLC.....

Beautiful experience!
I would like to have more games like this one, made with real footage, but actually with a better (maybe different) implementation on our side, since for most of this game we just need to see videos and we don't really need to make any choice in the end, and that's a little bit disappointing.

But hey, still definitely worth a try, and for sure you'll like it, since the story is very well done, and there are at least a couple of surprising moments trough the story. Very short story, unfortunately.
