If you are a UT veteran, and you're wondering if this game could be close to the game we were usual to play and compete, well... you may be disappointed.

The feeling is completely different (and in my opinion is much worse than UT), starting from the movement mechanics, to end to the graphic of the very first UT chapters (not that it matters in this game, but still...). Also, the weapons are not very unique and very well designed.

But as a plus point, it's F2P.
You can try it, it won't hurt you, but not a game I would play in my spare time. I still prefer UT. :)

After around just 20 hours of gameplay, I feel I already got to see everything the game has to offer, so I think I'm ready to write some kind of review about it. (to the SOD experienced players, I just switched to the second map).

Game has huge and small positive and negative aspect, so let's try to keep it simple and let's talk about them:

- LONGEVITY: You can basically play this game for around 200/300 hours easily, maybe more. If you think that I just played 1 map and I rushed it, and it took me 20 hours, you can easily figure it out how many hours it could take to play the other 5 maps (playable in the same campaign/story). Plus, there are constant updates and two extra game modes to play, so for sure you don't have to worry about longevity in this game.

- GAMEPLAY: The first thing that came in my mind when I played the first State of Decay, is damn, why there are no more games like this one? State of Decay is the ONLY GAME that put you in a true "The Walking Dead" environment, where you have to survive in a Zombie Apocalypse world and care about resources and people. It's not a simulator, everything is very easy to understand and very intuitive, but the amount of things you have to take care of, makes SoD 2 very immersive and fun.
Plus, it's great that it comes with a very good single player game mode, without to renounce at the multiplayer mode so that the player can decide how to play the game.

- REPETITIVENESS: Like I said before, the game is fun, but there's no much to do honestly. After around 10/15 hours of gameplay in the main campaign, you start to realize that you literally do always the same thing over and over and over. And the worst thing for me, is that is for 90% THE SAME of the first chapter of State of Decay. This makes me think that this isn't really State of Decay 2, but more of a spin off. So if you tried the first one and you got bored about it, don't even try this one, because it's basically the same. But... you know, it could be also a positive thing. I guess it's up to you.

- GRAPHIC: Not a fan of the graphic quality here... it's seems a PS3 ported game, which is a shame considered that this game is made with Unreal Engine 4. Literally almost nothing is really well made... and even here it's like to play with the same assets of the first State of Decay. Very bad, imho.
Also, the lighting in general is probably the worst thing in the game... it's like they put a few default lights here and there from the game engine and that's it. There is no tuning, no particular shaders, nothing. This game is basically made entirely with a 3D software program and processed by UE4 as best as it can... which is a real shame.

- ENVIRONMENT: They have to fire the level designer. Right now. Maps are so bad designed and frustrating, no details, and full of impenetrable barriers like mountains and rivers that force you to go you always on the same path even to reach close spots. Also, there are 5 maps, but they are very little... and there is nothing that let you prefer one instead of another one, because they are pretty much almost identical.

- SOUND: There are probably around 8-10 sound effects and 2 musics inside the game... not much to say about this... pretty sure they are also the same sounds of the first chapter. What can I add on this? ...

- AI: Not terrible, but it's really bad. When you decide to enlist a follower to have some help with tough objectives, they always find a way to get the infection or to receive some bad injuries. Also, sometime they just decide to not shoot even when they are surrounded by zombies, or the opposite, they shoot at first sight sometimes. Or... something they just do nothing and decide to surrender to zombies... and die. (it happened to me just today...)
And let's finish with human enemies.. that can headshot you in less than a second! Hurrah! :D

- EXTRA: There are several little things that I think they should be fixed or added into the game, like it's strange that they didn't include an armor vest and a helmet for protection, or that a military truck got almost the same resistance of a tiny car, or that if you go full speed on a big zombie, he can literally stop your car instantly and launch you back easily like he's stronger than HULK.
Without to mention every single thing I would love to included or fix inside the game, let's just mention that the game doesn't support the STEAM WORKSHOP... and that's a TERRIBLE DECISION.

You lazy guys.

All right, the game is not terrible, but meh, far from being good either.
Buy it only if you want more of what you saw in State of Decay 1, if you didn't play it, buy that one instead of this, you won't lose much as they are pretty much identical.

Don't expect much from this title.
You have just to drive a plane across an island, doing a few quests and collecting a few... collectables.

That's it.
But it's free to play and not even bad after all, so... thumbs up to devs as an encouragement! :)

Oh well, I can already imagine your faces, especially because this is a "positive" review.

Fallout 76 is known as one of the worst videogame ever created, especially because the devs who created this title is the creator of some of the most played games ever. The game completely destroyed any expectation of a decent Fallout sequel after Fallout 4, coming out full of bugs, lack of features, terrible gameplay and... not on Steam (at launch it was only available on the Bethesda Launcher).

On Metacritic, the game is currently rated 2.7/10 by users.

So you maybe are wondering, why I left a positive review?
Well, let's say it took 50 hours of gameplay before writing this review, and the reason I decided to recommend this game instead to confirm is still one of the worst game ever (like I was thinking at the day1 and even before it, during the closed beta), is that the last FREE UPDATE called Wastelanders, really changed the game in positive.

Be careful, I'm not saying the game is now worth your money, or it's actually something you should buy and try. It still got tons of bugs, weird gameplay and other annoying things.... it's just that now it feels more...... similar... to Fallout 4. The fact that Bethesda is now putting more effort to improve the game (that was initially DESTROYED by the fan base) meant something to me, and they are doing this mostly for free. You may say this needed to happen after everything that happened in the first days.... but why you would think that exactly?
Nothing is granted in this industry. It's very easy to abandon a failed project, or remain with a few fanboys that actually likes to pay for skins, supporting the game series no matter what, but they didn't do that. They granted us a Steam key for FREE, something that almost no one ever did before, and they published a full roadmap, promising us tons of features and new content (always for free).
I understand that most people just "cannot forget" what happened, and it's absolutely right. They completely disappointed me too, since I am a HUGE fan of the Fallout series and I had to avoid to buy the title for years. But when the new free update "Wastelanders" was released, I felt something new in the air, and I started to feel optimistic.

I made 50 hours of gameplay, with more to come. I think there are a lot of other videogames worse then this, so after hours and hours I couldn't decide if to rate this game in a positive or negative way... here's finally the reason why I decided to actually recommend this game to (and only) the Fallout fans out there.

If you loved Fallout 4, give this game a try and it may be worth your time, instead if you never loved much the game, maybe it's better to continue to stay away from this one too.

So, here it is.
I'm not going to write a review here (you can easily find professional reviews online), but just a quick personal thought on the game.

Even if not a perfect game, RDR2 is by far over the average of the products you can find on the market, just not in my top games chart, but that's due to my personal tastes, not because the game is not good.
But I really loved the story, and the environment, a lot. Just like I hated many other things..

Of course I totally recommend the game to all of you with no doubts, casual and hardcore players.

Mobile game for Steam.
If you're not rich (for the in app purchases a.k.a. gems), prepare to wait a LOT of time to proceed in the game.

Very nice update to a great chapter of the GTA series (better than GTA V in my opinion).

Now we can play the complete version for free, with no GFWL, and with achievements!!! Hurrah!! :)

Just a few rocks and some water, I had better expectations.

Who knows me, can tell you that it's very hard that I instabuy games, even more dlcs.

But when I saw this expansion out a few days ago, I knew instantly what I had to do: I had a huge deep breath, I went under the bed, to my secret (not anymore) money stash, I took all the money left. But that wasn't enough... no no no NO! So I collected all the money from the wallet, my credit cards, from everything I had... but that wasn't enough... no no no NO! So I went to the bank. I spoke to the Director and I said: "Mr. Bank man! I need money! It's urgent!!!! It's for an important cause! Please.. give everything you have to me.... it's for Mr. Tynan!". The Director gave me everything they had at the bank. Instantly. All the secretaries got wet when they heard that name.
So I had the money... but there was one thing left to do. I piled up all the money collected, I tried to form a giant ball. I took some duct tape, so I could stick everything together. And when the money ball was ready... I opened the Steam store page of RimWorld Royalty, and I kicked the ball towards my monitor so fast that I smashed everything I had on my desk.

Not sure if my PC is still working...
...but I own RimWorld - Royalty now.

10/10 I would do it again. :)

I understand it's a roguelike, I get it.

But losing hours and hours of playtime because I got killed, hell no. That's damn frustrating and no fun at all. Knowing that the full game is even worse at this (you can only save in one tavern), makes me really reluctant in buying the full game.

Not recommended until I see a different savegame system.
