A space exploration game made by people who think actually piloting a spaceship is boring.

There could have been a good game here if Beth scaled it down to a single highly-detailed system, built a real spaceflight engine to fly around that system, and overall actually created a self-interacting gameplay loop instead of poorly copying their own old homework without remembering what the math meant. There is a hard-scifi Nasapunk game buried somewhere in the design history of this, it unfortunately just got lost.

Came to revisit this and saw it just automatically installs Epic software into my system without any prompting. Seeing reports that it's online only now too. If you wanted crossplay so badly bring the steamworks dlls over to the epic version or run your own servers. This was not the way.

Real shame too as this seemed like a great atmospheric RTS.

Honestly the only thing that keeps my VR from collecting dust. Fantastic point shooting trainer too, they could probably reskin this as a military/police training tool and get millions in DoD funding.
