Good mod when it works but crashes and random game-breaking bugs are very common.

Oh boy, what a mess.

First off, let's get some positives going:
- Radio in cars (small but it's very likeable)
- The war mechanic
- The map's size and detail

Even though these are nice and all, the bad outweighs the good.

The bad stuff:
- Tons and tons of assets reused in their entirety from JC3, including Rico's animations
- Dodgy LOD and textures
- The water is disgusting
- Vehicle controls are dodgy
- Many things make this seem like an awful console port, such as the UI controls
- The story is hot garbage
- The pre-rendered cutscenes look like trash
- Various strange lighting bugs
- Rico can no longer use sidearms or placeable explosives
- The liberation system from JC3 is gone and is replaced with a shoddy new one which is 99% less fun
- The new rebel design is weird. Combined with the lighting, I didn't know who I was shooting at during the first 'war' mission
(and a whole, WHOLE lot more. Trust me, I've missed a lot)

In it's current, broken state, this game is absolutely dreadful and hopefully the developers fix these issues, however this seems unlikely. If you're really eager to play this, wait for a sale.
