Good game. Spent half a match right next to a confirmed Investigator as Kira and won the match. I then got caught as Kira next match because I called someone else suspicious and they turned the vote on me.

I woke up this evening expecting to have a good night. I spent it staring at 4 different points of my kingdom wondering why they couldn't build a wall there at all.

Keep being desynced and disconnected from cooperative games.

Like an abusive husband, but every so often you pay for him to wear different clothes and sometimes you beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of him instead.

Bit unstable on my PC - I have walked through walls and floors as they've loaded and the auto-complete has utterly glitched out - but the premise is interesting enough.

The game's stability sucks ass - anything Nvidia has to be turned off and ambient collision tanks the frame rate - while the publishers most likely mandated the microtransactions included in the game the developers said wouldn't exist (oh and they covered up their 'little white lies' too).
But ♥♥♥♥ if it isn't fun to run around as a psychic manchild called Teddy fighting for his Beloved.

Weather update: I have max ranked like half my roster, please send help.

Playing the game on Hard, so if I sound like a ♥♥♥♥♥ I probably am.
Animation locks scams you out of dodging attacks - skill tree fixes like 75% reduction against attacks while grabbing or taking down doesn't help with that, just heavily mitigates it. Your ability to damage is heavily outpaced by the enemy, and when you end up having to swap from going stealth to loud it really shows when a basic grunt is capable of downing you in several swings while you take several melee combos to take down 1 grunt. Don't try ranged combos, they're pretty much only good for the lingering attacks the Large Regulators throw out and to apply statuses. Gun toting enemies and drones are your biggest threats due to their ability to just stay away from you and deal damage if you can't dodge - which again, animation locks on grabs (and some attacks? why?) - makes much more likely to occur.
Oh, and your medkits only refresh when you return to the Belfry or beat up Large enemies near far as I can tell.

Multiplayer is 50/50 - one 50 is players or the game deciding to kick you, the other 50 is gaming deciding to crash. When it works, it's alright? But I'm pretty sure it also scales your difficulty and your strength to the host - it makes sense, but it means I'm curbstomping in multiplayer but suffering by myself. And no one I know wants to buy this. And I'm not spending £150 to get some friends to join, especially if they decide to STOP.

I'm electing to choose neither yes or no at the moment - it's in early access at the time of writing, its only tutorial is a store page video (no tooltips, no guiding voice, no handholding) and frankly its graphics can barely be considered a step up from a base Unity game. So far.

Its features - weapon customization, movement, unit control - are less about player convenience and more about realism, for better or worse (you have to go to the gunsmith to customize your weapon, you can't move through or easily around your squad, they can get stuck on each other).

But it runs and plays like a SWAT game should well enough. So far.

Keep an eye on it.

Welcome back to the modern day and age, me. What did I miss?

Well, my first mission saw me enter a gas station and deal with crackheads who apparently don't know the meaning of "take several rounds to the face and die" on account of the fact I was shot through the payment slot of a cashier booth.

Never mind the various issues the community itself has faced - no reaction time shots, civilians resisting arrest and even pulling out their phones instead of complying, effectively instant death if you don't have a shield and/or pre-fire?

I'll have to play a little more to see if it'll suck me in, but so far my friends aren't impressed and I can see why.
