From a gameplay standpoint the game is good, the thing that ruins it is the community. Too many toxic and griefing players

Project Reality 2.0

After getting more time back into the game from coming back I've decided to revise my review, while my previous comments are relevant they are just a vocal minority of the community to watch out for as a new player. Outfits are still around and there are still chill players around. Overall the game is a great platform and going into 2020 has a real chance to make it big with other games such as Battlefield and WW3 being flops. Hopefully the devs capitalize on it and make Planetside 2 truely great. But overall just surround yourself in the game with chill people that understand the harsh learning curve of the game and you'll have a lot of fun in the game.



It breaks my heart having to write this review as the game used to be a lot of fun back before 2015 but sadly as the player base dwindled the only players that remain are those that are either having it as the only game they play and abuse the game to the point of making it not fun for casual or new players or just downright toxic players.

For being a "Tactical Team Based Shooter" all I seemed to find were people just jumping around corners and grenade spamming. Also hit reg and latency were absolutely terrible. Not even worth the download as there are only around 4-5 servers running on NA and none of them do anything about these problems

Great game, love the mechanics in it. You have no mini map like most traditional FPS gams but you have a some what of a temporary wall hack instead (Everyone has it so dont worry)

Great Game! Not as good as Civ 4 though.

Best RPG experience you will ever have!
