1. Crash land on some random planet.
2. Build the mother of all factories to exploit the planet to produce stuff.
3. Pollution makes local wildlife angry.
4. Destroy said angry wildlife with nukes.
5. Build a rocket to launch a satellite into space.
6. Win the game.

You may not like it but this is peak mankind performance right there.

10/10 would recommend.

Blowing up the home planets of my most hated arch enemies, that bullied me during the entire game, with a Stellar Converter sold this game for me.

If you played Master of Orion II you'll most likely miss the good ol' roundbased tactical combat which is completely gone in this MoO incarnation. Instead you're fighting in realtime on an arena like battlefield.
Whereas you could diretly shoot at the enemy planet in MoO II you can't here anymore. Every defense structure is now an orbital plattform that floats direclty on the battlefield rather then firing from the surface of your planet.
MoO II veterans may claim the current way battles are handled in MoO feel completely bland and shallow, lacking the diversity of the legendary MoO II battles.

Anterans are currently missing too in the game but may be subject for an Addon in the future.

Yet the game kind of brings back the typical Master of Orion One more turn feeling, which is a good sign. If the devs release some more content whether as classical Addons and/or DLC I'd totally recommend this game if its on sale since the current price of about 40 bucks is abit hefty for my taste.

My first MMO that I've ever played! I've got some mixed expectations but at the end The Elder Scrolls® Online: Tamriel Unlimited™ turned out to be a pretty decent game.

The only other Elder Scrolls game I've played so far was Skyrim thus let's check out what makes ESO different from what Skyrim did.

1. The Story: While Skyrim was kind of slow in developing it's story, ESO has a quicker pace on how it presents it's storyline to you.
After you did the intro mission that introduces you to what you can expect to come later, you'll be released to the world. The amount of missions and other content is IMMENSE. I've been playing for more then 100 hours now and still have barely experienced 50% of all the available PvE story content.

2. The Meta Game: When you're not focusing the main story line there's plenty of other stuff to do. Sidequests, Crafting and Dungeons wait to be explored and everything with other people running around.
Especially the other "travellers" make the game feel much more vivid than Skyrim.
There's plenty of NPC's inside towns talking to eachother and doing other miscallenous stuff, while in Skyrim every Town felt more or less as dead and empty like a cemetery.

3. The Gameplay: Not going to lie here, the MMO elements are undeniably strong. Levelling takes alot of time to do and crafting ingredients are partly incredibly difficult to find. While in Skyrim it was rather easy to become an Overpowered Demi-God that One-Punched Alduin the Worldeater into Oblivion, it'll mostly never happen in ESO since you're more or less always on par with other players on a similar level to prevent you from curbstomping every other player in PvP.

After all I can very much recommend this game to get when it's on sale again. The graphics and overall presentation of the game is pretty decent regarding its MMO nature.
