This is surprisingly a lot of fun. Its a rouge-like game with permadeath(you can turn it off) but the game gives you a chance to save your character. Weapons are pretty cool, but some feel and are overpowered. Each ship is different with different guard patrols and loot. Very fun, low stress, time killer for 15 bucks. Can't beat it.

Have a replay. retical wasnt on the guy... actually was a sh*t shot; it should have been off to his left by a few feet. red mist. when my reticle was on him, red mist but no dmg was registered. I stayed hidden. Guy came out 3 shots. 2 hs and a body shot, guy lived with 1 hp. after a min, i hit the guy again a few more times. Lived. Guy tosses a nade, im far away from it, around the corner. no LOS. kills me 1 hit, full hp. Im done. ♥♥♥♥ this game. Fix the reg and the lag. :steamsalty:

TL;DR Fun Tower Defense game with added complexity. Its not incredibly easy and thats what makes it fun. Plus the added layer complexity you get from runes and items just adds to the fun. Not bored. 10/10.

By far the best tower defense game I've played. So much fun. So many different strategies and combos. Some traps even reward you for using traps in conjunction with each other to get kills. The game does get pretty complex with the Runes and Items, Plus the skill tree, plus the tower upgrades. Honestly, I love the complexity of it.

Runes add XP to a map in exchange for added difficulty. They seem to be randomly generated and are dropped while playing so you can choose to added them to another map later. Kind of nice that you get to pick which ones you want to add to a map (up to 9) because you can really play to your strategy. For example, I really like throwing people off edges, so I choose Runes that give HP+ or faster walking because those dont really matter for tossing folk, whereas weight does. Items increase trap stats, like reset speed, specific trap dmg, more starting gold (nice in the begining) etc. Runes and Items gives this game a diablo-like feel, because there are different rarities, and the stats they give are random. So its really cool when you discover a new item and its stats are amazing, and makes you rethink your strategy going further.

Cons: Some of the UI is bleh. When you get items or runes, they are "undiscovered" and you have to right click them to see the stats. Cool at first, but kind of pointless (doesnt take away from the experience at all though). Another thing that is kind of annoying is not being able to edit your loadout once you've place one tower on the map. The only way I've figured out how to get the loadout change screen back is to restart the map. This is before the rounds have even started, I don't see why i shouldn't be able to swap out for a different tower I haven't placed yet.

All in all, this is a really fun game. At the time of writing, ive put ~20 hours into it already and Im still not bored with it. 10/10

I've been looking for a game that is like this for the last year and just happened to stumble upon this yesterday. I wanted a game like Binding of Issac or Gungeon but as a FPS. This game is a lot of fun. It was kind of challenging at first but now im getting the hang of it. Movement definitly feels like a 90's fps, like quake or something. Wish it was a little flashier but stull a fun game. 4/5

The Brief History of Green Tree, Home to the Trosma Kinship

Things were finally looking up, Toxtra the Framer thought. He was finally beginning to have a good outlook after so much struggle over the last 121 days. They might just make it off this planet. They had picked up a few other people to help them survive, each having different talents. Some of them had previously tried to kill them. Trogo and Borrebarda had seen the light. The people they had tried to murder showed them kindness and forgiveness; Acceptance. They would do their part for the people that saved their lives, even die to defend it.

Aprimay First, like a bad joke, a neighboring tribe the Moncaacant. They came from the south, armed with machine pistols and Molotov Cocktails. The squad of 8 defenders, though only slightly outnumbered, didn’t stand a chance to the superior firepower and skill of their invaders. Grouping up tight, a well placed cocktail, took knocked out a few members, while the others tried to not get covered in flame, the well-practiced raiders were able to take them out.

Once the ashes cooled, the raiders moved on, not taking a single item with them. They weren’t in it for loot, they were in it for the fun.
Perhaps someone else will find a use for the ruins of Green Tree.

Rimworld - 10/10, will play again and again and again…

This game is fun, bottom line. The hate on this game isnt really justified. Could the PC release have gone smoother, most definitely yes!! But a poor launch shouldn’t dictate whether or not the game is good. This is a very niche title. If you don’t like exploring, finding materials, casual combat and trading, you won’t like this game. Sean Murray has always said that these things are what you do, with the emphasis on EXPLORING. It’s not a game for everyone. There is mystery and there is a soft plot playing in the background. People’s expectations for how different everything would look were way unfounded. The animals are different but they do recycle characteristics. Same goes for planets. The game is FUN if you fall into the niche.

*DO NOT BUY YET HORRIBLY OPTIMIZED BUT IT IS A GOOD GAME*
Ummm... so there is this part... maybe 5 min into the game where you save a police officer and they talk about how the city is over run and the odds are stacked against them. Then batman says "im evening the odds" *press E to even the odds*

"Even the odds" means you cut your already locked 30fps to 1-2 fps as it summons the batmobile. then its goes back to 30 as you are able to move the camera around again. *press W to accelerate* means "kill the fps to 5-10"...
This is just rediculous. I've played it on ps4 and the game is amazing, so i bought it for PC. Don't buy it for PC. Devs are working on patches for it... wait for them!
I have a i5 4690, 8gb gskill ram and a GTX 970 SC... so i can handle anything that is thrown my way pretty much. It's kind of sad to see new game this horribly optimized.

if you suck at fps, you will hate this game. Some people say you need to buy items to win.... no. Base guns are fine. I'm sure the bought guns help, but im not wasting a dime on this game and you really don't need to. This game is nothing special. Its the game you play when you are bored and need 10-20 min of cheap entertainment. Hackers are a commen occurance.

I recommend this because its free.

Must play. Game is fun as heck and the graphics are amazing. I havent played it much yet, but enough to know that im going to love it. Plus, Co-op eventually?! YES! It is alpha, but the core of the game seems pretty solid. the natives come and check you out in like the first 4 min of gameplay.... they are always watching.

I've been playing 1.6 since 04 and then got into CSS... CS:GO doesnt feel like counter-strike to me. I dont know how else to explain it, but it just feels awkward and I can't pinpoint why it feels this way to me. I know I'm not the only one. I haven't been able to get into it at all. I would much rather play 1.6 or CSS over GO. If you want an authentic CS feel, try 1.6 or CSS and don't spend the 15 bucks on GO. If you really do want to try it, get it on sale.

EDIT: They fixed stuff and now it feels right!!! 1.6 in source graphics, yes please!
