The psychedelicesque imagery was enough for me to be interested in this game, I love the chaotic and colorful art style.

Game play wise, it's very straight-forward. Run and gun down enemies without dying. Very short levels, very short game, but good replayability. Every level is procedurally generated so it's a different run every time, it can be a bit much though. Even when you get used to the feel of the game you can sometimes get lost and end your run early. I haven't beaten yet and have only gotten just past Act II, but I wouldn't say it's a hard game, there's just a lot going on at all times and you need to be quick.

Although it doesn't tell you much at all besides a brief overview of the games story, I love the lore of the game, it's an interesting and fantastic idea, and the explanation is satisfying in itself.

The developers have great taste in music as well, more than the song that's played in the game.

Bought this game on sale, but it's well worth the cheap original price.

Almost 1600 hours in this game and I'm still absolute trash at it.

It's my favorite game honestly.
