Early Access Review
I was contemplating getting this game for a while, as I'm a massive Sun Haven/SDV fan; and I'm so glad I did. The quality of life in this game is beyond expectations - the more I find out the more I am on my knees thanking the devs. This farming sim was made for THE PEOPLE!! I am only 9 hours in, and not that deep into the story yet but I love it so far.

A few (maybe a lot) of things I love about this game are the small details of the UI changing colour from morning to night, the character customisation is *chefs kiss*, the grass on your farm is actually cute!! (i don't want to cut it everyday for ruining my farm's aesthetic unlike other farming sims), you unlock outfits instead of it taking up your inventory space, you can craft with items from your chest on any of the tables in the town without having to bring them with you, you don't have to wait for your crafts!!! (it just takes a small chunk of time from your day but you get them instantly), holding shift to auto move items to your chest/shipping container, you can put accessories on your animals!!, fishing is SO easy (no annoying mini game to catch them, it's exactly like animal crossing), when something doesn't fit in your inventory it drops on the ground and DOESN'T disappear!! it could be there for days and you can pick it up whenever (this is especially helpful when your inv is always full like mine and you are trying to complete the museum). On the note of the museum: I LOVE that I don't have to search every room and table for the right spot for items that belong in there, it's one click of a button. Absolutely love the spells you can get (I still only have the first one but my god how it is so helpful!). So many ways to get stamina too, there's a well you can drink from, the spa is 100 money for instant refill of stamina & health, and you can eat from the inn's soup cauldron everyday for a small boost as well.

There's so much more I could list but this review would get super long (as if it isn't already).
I absolutely recommend this game if you have had it on your wishlist for a while; worth every cent.

I love this game, it's very similar to Islanders! Being strategic is a small bit harder in this as you have to match the tiles for big points but I think it's much more fun that way!
The more you play the better you get at understanding the game’s overall concept with which you can achieve much higher scores. (I’m still learning and the highest score I have gotten is around 17k, so working towards the 20k achievement is exciting).
From what I have experienced the tiles do actually load in as pieces that will fit in odd spots to what current map you have created - which I didn’t realise until I started fiddling around with the creator/sandbox option after a round had ended; which has helped me to take time in the placement of my tiles!

The art style is super cute and the colours/themes are so aesthetically pleasing. I also love the little details in a lot of the tiles you unlock as you play. I love games that have a brain boosting aspect to a cozy vibe. I definitely recommend this if you're into strategy/casual gameplay ♡

I wish there was a neutral rating for reviews on steam because this would definitely fall under that, though I am rating this up as recommended purely for the music, locations, graphic update, glams and overall vibe.
I absolutely adore the inclusivity of the cultures, it's clear where the inspiration of the locations & main city comes from and I think they implemented it really well and respectfully.

Learning about the difference of culture in the tribes from Eorzea to Tural was also really interesting to me and I enjoyed getting some lore from those quests.

I also love the new mechanics of dungeons/trials and I feel they really touched base on everything I was hoping for in new content. A lot of the mechanics I have personally never seen before so it was really fun to experience for the first time and I’m super excited to see what the raid series are like when they are added.

The new adjustments to quality of life (especially with crafting and gathering) I have really liked as well. I really enjoyed levelling all my DoL/DoH to 100 with these improvements!

However, I will say the MSQ is pretty average, which is super unfortunate. I love this game and I play mostly for the story, but this felt so rushed and lack lustre to me. A lot of the story felt like a time waste in a way. It also felt super predictable with the villains, as we've seen all of this stuff before especially during Endwalker.
Some of the scenes were really attention grabbing and heartfelt, but a lot of them were boring to me.
I loved the new characters and I truly think Wuk's character development throughout the story was great. The focus on Krile and Erenville as characters was also really interesting to me except I felt a lot of the ideas were halted and the ending was super rushed. The last zone was the quickest to finish and it felt so wrong because the lead up was so dramatic. There’s a lot of plot holes in this MSQ and I am super on the fence about it. I just expected so much more, especially how it was hyped up to be a whole new story with new experiences; which I felt was only clear in the cultural aspect ;w;

I also wish they would have put more time into voiced scenes, there's a few memorable moments I wish were voiced (and I know a lot of people would have skipped because they weren't).

I also noticed a lot of restrictions with travelling; such as being unable to go on things that seemed like you'd be able to (zone 6: if you know you know), and being unable to climb up surfaces that you would easily be able to get up.

Overall MY opinion of placement for all stories now are: Shb > EW > SB > DT > HW > ARR.
It definitely saddens me to put DT so low.

Absolutely love this game!! I love creating/experimenting with stickers and making things I never thought would look cute together. The packaging aspect is sooo fun for me, I love making it aesthetically pleasing with the different papers/fillings & adding cute candies in the boxes too. The small side stories of customers is a lovely addition too.
I hope in future they bring out some kind of assistant for helping with printing or small time buffs as it can get quite overwhelming with how many orders you receive. Other than that, definitely one of the cutest games on steam!

cutest little game!! I've actually been able to mark stuff off my to do list that i've put off for weeks. The alarm/timer, journal and to do list are amazing. The timer is honestly perfect, I love the sound it makes when it's time for your break; it's not too in your face or abruptly loud (which is good for my lil sensitive ears). I love the art style and the levelling system! I also loved unlocking new spirits too. I appreciate the decorative options for the room, character and spirits as well.
The playlists are sooo soothing & easy to concentrate with and I absolutely love the options for time of day and ambience sounds (i personally love evening + fireplace + rain, so dreamy)
I do hope more decorations and clothes are added in future but other than that, an adorable game!

I had such high hopes for this game as I'd seen such good reviews about it, and I was truly not disappointed AT ALL.
This story was so emotional, so gut wrenching and touches on a lot of hard subjects. Losing someone to death, racism, religious trauma, losing safety and a home. Meeting such friendly, kind souls along the way. People and life are scary sometimes and having some sweet, caring characters help throughout the game definitely helped me trust a lot more, in a weird way. Appreciating such little things like sibling relationships, nature and a journey. Going through it just trying to protect yourself and your little brother from the cruelty of society, really touched my soul.
Gorgeous scenery, gorgeous music, gorgeous characters (as per usual).
The small easter eggs from the first game made me super emotional too.

The whole Life is Strange series has truly left a mark on my heart. A series I will never forget.
Absolutely any mention of this series, the music as well - makes me cry. I just love it so much. One of the best game series I have ever played in my entire life, and I mean that.

Such a cute game!! the art style is absolutely adorable. I love games like this that are simple but still require some sort of strategy even if it's "easy". Love the sandbox mode too, so good for when you just want to zen out but still create something aesthetically pleasing ♡
