I have now played this long awaited sequel for 40h+ and was really excited to play another round of a sould like game.

BUT
leaving all game aspects aside, the reason why you should not yet buy it is simple :

There are daily patches, that , for me at least, made everyting worse in the last 2 days :
- frequent crashes
- settings do not get saved, upon restart of one of the many crrashes one needs to reconfigure everything the way you want it, this includes : Gameplay mechanics (target lock) , Language, subtitle etc. , key assignments , graphical assignments

at the current state, the game isnt any better than an aplhpa release, bugged in a way that is it literally unplayble.

I could look over some of the facts, but the auto-lock "feature" is really killing it.

For some reason , someone decided it would be good to have the lock auto turn onto the nearest enemy, which makes it literally I M P O S S I B L E to fight more than 2 enemies at the same time :

You are up against a stronger enemy who is aided by a bunch of easy, slow moving ones, so far so good.
But the target lock locks you on the nearest, which is most often one of the lower rated ones, as a result you miss the swings onto your actual target and 11 out of 10 times the actual enemy exploits it and rips through your back, or you roll right into his swing.

Many thanks for that.

As such :

Wait until this is up for sale, if you want to waste some money, or wait until all those issues have been fixed.
Given the fact that there are daily updates, the hopes for the latter are actually quite slim

Hey there, we're sorry to hear that Lords of the Fallen wasn't the new gameplay experience you were looking for in a new game.
