Yes, anyone may do anything with my work as long as I am credited as the original mod author. You will need the new authors' permission to fork their work as well.

I'm sorry to dredge up this topic again, but I wanted to clarify whether your allowing another commenter here to update your Psychology mod is permission for anyone to do so, given your requirement to credit you as the original mod author? I'm interested in updating/forking your mod (well, the more recently updated mod based on your work), but I don't want to violate how you want your mod used.

Similarly, would you be willing to assign an open source license, such as the MIT License, to the code to make your intentions more formal? I would be happy to help you reach a decision. Thanks!

Thank you about that i knew there had to be a reason on why you stopped updating the mod people dont just "forget" to update their mod i honestly think people should stop hammering into you with things like "Update the mod" And all that.

Just a self-indulgent addition I didn't think anybody would notice. I figured if I made a well-adopted mod then I deserved my own "backer" characters. Anyway, I stopped updating Psychology because I got bored of the game. Rimworld was fun for a couple hundred hours but eventually I realized how much I was fighting the game to get my enjoyment out of it. And if I'm not playing a game I don't feel like doing free work on it.

I've been working on a major update to Psychology, and the framework you left for us to work with is brilliant. The number of traits is a strength, not a weakness because of the correlations between them. I was wondering, who are the Tarai siblings?

As you may know, Psychology is currently not compitable with EDB Prepare Carefully in the sense that you can't edit their personality/sexuality anymore. I also noticed you haven't responded to any of the comments complaining, and so I really wanted to add you and send a message complaint. However, your bio says you wouldn't prefer that, so I'll just leave this here. I would greatly appreciate if you responded in some way, either on your mod or here. Thank you for being a great modder, I'm really grateful! <3

The restriction is hard coded into the mod. You will need to recompile it from the source code without that line (which is in PsychologyBase.cs). Download Visual Studio Community and open the .sln file, remove the reference to androids from the aforementioned .cs file, then build the project and take the Psychology.dll that creates out of /bin and replace the .dll in the Assemblies folder with it.

Sorry I put it so harshly. I'm still using it, I just can't do the playthrough I was really hoping to do with your mod. I can't stop using it, it's fantastic. I'd just like to know where I can re-enable androids for personal use.

So the game is unplayable because part of it is using vanilla instead of my mod... and if I don't help you fix it, you'll stop using my mod?

Hi, can you please help me revert the Android changes to Psychology in 1.0? I know you prefer not to let androids use it but it's ruining my current playthrough with androids that are supposed to have the same mental complexity as humans. My androids will only do generic smalltalk/deeptalk and I need to change this to continue using your mod, which I really like and would hate to play without.

I just don't get why you cant take 30 seconds out to atleast make a comment to your fans even if it's to say "i'm not working on it anymore" do you really care that little for the people who support you that you cant spare them a comment?
It's the not commenting not the lack of an update that's sparking off the hate in Psychology mod right now could you please at the very least just take 10-30 seconds to tell them if they should wait or just start except it's not coming, seriously it's literally 10-30 seconds to comment.
